When I first started going to Totally Tanning it was a nice tanning salon, figuring it was one of the only in Orange so I had to go. Then some young girl, who I find out later had no idea what she was talking about or knew she was scamming me at the time, set me up with a package. Little did I know the 2 month package that I originally signed up for had small print saying I would have to cancel after the 2 months was over or they would keep charging me, a small detail that was never mentioned, but a large amounted of money scammed away by the dumb girls that work there who have no idea what they are doing. Even-though I apparently had this package that went on after the 2 months, in which I didn't know could still continue, they still allowed me to sign up for points and said I was out of tans, the computer might have said one thing, but my bank statement said another. So point of the story is make sure you know exactly what you are signed up for because they will sell you new packages and points even when you still have remaining because they make commission. So watch your back because they love to screw people over at Totally Tanning....
Pros: they give you a starburst when your done, but thats about it
Cons: they like to screw people out of money and their staff really doesn't know what they are talking about

I have been going to totally tan for four years and never had a problem till this year. The waiting isn't bad and there are a couple girls that are very nice and friendly, but they have one bed that doesn't get hot; ever, so I stopped using it. I thought I had found one that works, but today it didn't. It only got warm and I swear I was only in there 15 min instead of 20, cause I looked at my watch before I went in. The girl there called up her boss to ask if I could go in one that worked for about 10 and she just said, no, you can't use them more than once a day. They did not offer to give me my money back or anything. Just, I'm sorry. They are cheap. They don't even change the bulbs. I am not going there again. I am just going to stick to getting my tan the right way..with the good "old sun." It works and it's free.
Pros: Pretty good customer service!
Cons: Never changes the bulbs!

Totally Tanning is a really great facility. The Customer Service Team is great. The Gals are cheerful and very helpful. There is always an upbeat environment. Totally Tanning takes Tanning to a whole new experience. CONGRATDULATIONS ON BEST SALON IN THE O.C. GEN!!!!! (You work your butt off and it shows)

i have just recently switched tanning salons, i have been tanning at totally tanning for a few years and finally became fed up with the constant bed problems and the lack of promptness changing bulbs. i have friends who have tanned at totally tanning as well and have had constant problems with the management there. Their contracts would be billed twice for no reason and on more than one occasion. Not only are the beds not kept up to par, but the salon just seems like it's just not run proffessionally. If your looking for a better tanning salon, just go a couple blocks down to sundance tan.

TotallyTanning was a great exsperence for me and my famiely! The salon was very clean and the beds are great! I'm a member now and I love it! i think its the best in O.C
Pros: NOT expensive, quick, clean
Cons: buesy
