I've been here 3 times, the steak is usually very good, with an amazing cajun flavor sause on the side. I have to admit, sometimes when there is a large party , the food isn't always great ( meaning not a maestros, or delreys quality) but definetly worth the price. But the food , band , and ambience are amazing. I would highly recommend this place, its even open late. One of the best places to get a good steak and have a great time. Definetly check it out ....and you wont be dissapointed. ALso, has an area to play pool and darts , and video games....great fun

Pros: Ambeince, food , and Beer

Cons: Not the hightest quality food, but your not paying $100 a person either.....

Disgusting! Arrived shortly before 11 p.m. for a steak dinner w/3 others on a Saturday night. ALL meals were lousy and we thought way overpriced for the quality (Denny's quality here). Steaks VERY tough, stuffed mushrooms had no flavor. Garlic bread was tough. The marinara sauce for the fried mozzarella was good though, not your everyday fried mozzarella dipping sauce. One of the first things that came out of our waiter's mouth was how tired he was, just went on and on AND ON. Was he trying to get us to move to another table? This place was jumping so it wasn't like we were late comers right before closing. Very loud so conversation was kept minimal. Not going back again. Too bad as north Orange County needs a late night dining establishment.

Pros: Late-night dining, young crowd, nice area.

Cons: Food

What a great find. This is not your typical bar food and not your typical steak house. We went on a friday night and the place was buzzing. Maybe thats cause it was the final game of the 2006 Baseball World Series. Was seated in about 15 minutes, wow. Had the rib-eye, medium-rare. The grill is well used and I could taste it in this fine steak, awsome. The garlic mashed potato's (heavy on the garlic) may have been the best I've ever had! I'll havta remember to get the stuffed mushrooms next time, I hear they are top shelf.

Pros: Great Food

Cons: Parking

If you are Mr. or Mrs. steak snob and are used to ultra prime+++ cuts of Kobe beef @ $50 a plate, then this is NOT the place for you. HOWEVER, if you are John Q. Public and enjoy a very good steak at a reasonable price and a cold beer in a nice casual atmosphere, this is a great place to go!! The new york steak, black & blue steak (w/ blue cheese, YUM!), beef stroganoff, roasted garlic mashed are all VERY good. Herb crusted swordfish was good, but crusting over powers the swordfish. The bananas foster is a MUST for desert! I can't wait to go back and try some of the other menu items. Overall, very casual atmosphere, nice menu variety, very good food, great presentation, reasonable prices and polite attentive service. Thumbs up!!!

Pros: Casual atmosphere, good food/great steaks, reasonable prices

Cons: Only open for dinner, late happy hour

I am a steak connoiseur so eating ribeye in Fullerton brought serious doubts to mind about how good it could possibly be. Surprisingly I found the ribeye to be quite flavorful and juicy. I agree with a previous review about the quality of the meat. USDA Prime it is not. It has the same consistency as steaks I've eaten at Denny's but with a much thicker cut. The marbling was decent but the taste was quite impressive. Decoration matched the North Woods Inn (exposed lumber, brick, dark ski-lodge feel). I would not recommend this place as a serious steakhouse since it functions more as a bar but if you want a steak badly enough and you are in the area it provides a fix. For $23.00 you will not get a better 16oz steak dinner anywhere.

Pros: Good steak, value, pretty good service

Cons: Service is from students, loud, not a real steakhouse

Steak is O.K. but this is a BAR first and foremost, NOT a Steakhouse, so it's easy to forgive the quality when you need steak at 11:00 pm! Cramped dining area. Servers are attentive, but bartenders have attitude. It's embarrasing to watch them rail on the servers. Good music! Steak is decent, and if you keep your expectations low, you'll enjoy it. Crowd is cool, but very locals only. Overall: decent

Pros: Music, late-night dining, Value

Cons: Not really restaurant, Bartenders, Cramped

This is one of the best steakhouse in fullerton, orange county. The steak is big, fresh, juicy and done in your way. I mean when you order it medium, it will be cook medium, no mess up!! The decoration is bar type with pool table on the second floor, and live music on the first dining area by the bar. The live music is bad, but you go there for the steak. The servers are young and attentive people, maybe some of them are students. The decoration can be improve, but so what??? The steaks do speak out for themself... EXCELLENCE!!!

Pros: All the steaks., Attentive services.

Cons: Decoration., Live music is bad.

Love the Black & Blue, salad so-so, veggi and potatoes always hot and fresh. Ice cool drinks, great bands a bit loud if your there to eat and converse. Fun bar, hip crowd

Relaxed, neighborhood bar feel, so if you'd like casual drink and food, I'd recommend it. However, I wouldn't recommend it if you're coming here for the steak. Ordered a NY Strip medium-rare but it arrived medium to medium-well. I had it re-cooked and it then came out a bit too rare. I also ordered some hot wings as an appetizer which were pretty disappointing. Anyway, very little flavor and juicyness/marbling. Definitely not USDA Prime or Choice; it tasted like it could've been USDA Standard. So again, if you want to just hang out, drink, and grab a bite to eat, it's a cool spot. But if you're craving a *quality* steak, this is definitely not the place to go. On an unrelated note, the back door area of the restaurant smelled like chemicals/cleaner during my visit. Very unappetizing.

Pros: beer selection, bar, ambience

Cons: steak quality

The food is incredible! The beer is ice cold and the service great. It's the best place to get together with friends and have some really good food. Best steak yet.

A traditional steakhouse that's ready to serve up tender top sirloin well into the night.  See the full editorial review.
