Great pastas and salad! It has great service and good dessert! It's a cozy atmosphere. For dinner, the lights are really nice. Great for dates! They have outside and inside place to eat.
How can you ruin pasta!

I did not think you could ruin pasta. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce was like one big lump. Highly dissapointed. Even the steak dinner was not decent. The service was terrible, and there was no atmosphere. Even the bread tasted old and dry. They advertise live music and there was none. This place needs a new cook but won't go back even for water. Waste of hard earned $$$.

I've been here several times and have never had bad food. Their panini's are killer, the grilled garlic chicken breast was delicious. The Pesto Shrimp is to die for. The tiger shrimp are huge. It's almost worth it just to go for their bread and garlic spread. Be careful not to use too much the stuff is potent!

As soon as we sat down, the water was delivered, it was perfect after a long walk in the sun. The service was nice and the people were great. The food is good and the price is right

Went in for a late lunch on a Sunday and was still seated quickly. Nice greeting at the door and the employees seemed happy to be there. Drinks came quickly and the food followed in a timely manner. Portions were decently sized. All in all a nice experience and would certainly go again.
Go for the Baked Brie!

This restaurant is a favorite of my boyfriends and mine. You can almost find us there every Sunday for the brunch. The baked brie is fabulous, and served with apples, carrots, and bread. We replicate the recipe at home it is so yummy. The brie and strawberry french toast is amazing as well. The champagne with brunch is around $5, but this includes two complimentary refills. If you are an egg lover, be sure to ask that they are not overdone. The sandwiches are yummy as well as the salads and soups. If it is your birthday, you will receive a complimentary dessert, such as the yummy tiramisu as I did. I recommend this restaurant for lunch/brunch, but the main courses are great as well. Staff is very friendly and will remember your face. Enjoy!
- Pros: The Brie! Great brunch! Friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere.
- Cons: None.
Good serivce, good appetizers, not-so-good pasta

I went to this restaurant with my wife the other night for the first time. As noted in other reviews, this restaurant has good service. We started off with some appetizers and were pleasantly surprised. We both ordered pasta dishes..... the sauces were very good, but the pasta was entirely over cooked. We returned our dishes and asked that they be re-cooked. After a few minutes, the waitress returned with our dishes. Again, the pasta was over cooked and this time, they were lukewarm (at best). The waitress noticed that we stopped eating our dinner. She looked apologetic and told us that the pasta is pre-cooked and heated when ordered. For anyone that knows pasta, this is a no-no. I would have preferred if they made us wait for pasta that was aldente. It was a shame, again, because the sauce was good. They gave us a discount on the check, which was a nice gesture but the damage had been done. If you're looking for a good pasta dish, this is not the place. I'm sure their grilled entrees are good, but I don't think I'll find out.
- Pros: Good service
- Cons: Pasta is over cooked

My boyfriend and I had a coupon from the Entertainment Book so we decided to try this restaurant out since it was near the Brea Improv. We went on a Friday night at around 8pm. There were a lot of people, mostly sitting outside, which is usually a good sign. We decided to dine inside, since there was no wait. We were seated promptly. The menu offered a lot of choices. My boyfriend ordered the Lemon Chicken Piccatta and I got the Roast Beef Panini. They were both very good. The soup was excellent. They have a great wine selection, too. The thing I liked most about this restaurant was the service. Even though they were busy, everyone from the hostess to the manager, they were all taking care of business and were very friendly. I would definitely go back again.
- Pros: Great Service, Decent Wine List, Good Food
- Cons: Small
