I ordered a Stanley Crib & Changing station over 14 weeks ago & still do not have my furniture! I have constantly had to call the store for updates. Nobody has taken the time to call me & let me know what to expect. Even worse, they have the furniture, but are not delivering it to me! I paid for everything in full, I feel ripped off! Buyer Beware!!!!

how is it that a business with all bad reviews is showing 4 stars? i have never dealt with ilk of imbeciles that exist at bergstrom's children's stores. i had been warned by friends of the level of indifference and incompetence there and i strongly regret not heeding the warning. i strongly discourage ANYONE from doing any business what so ever with that establishment and do your self a favor, avoid the careless, rude staff at all costs. the run around you get will make you dizzy! i don't know how anyone could possibly stay in business running it the way they do. hopefully they won't be around for long. it would take them that long to sort out the ridiculous mess they made and you'll be the one making all the phone calls!!!

Pros: None!!!

My husband and I purchased a crib and dresser at this store BECAUSE we were assured that both items were in stock and could be delivered within a few days. The store delivered the crib on time but, five weeks later, still no dresser. The only explanation we were given was that the salesperson "made a mistake." Speaking with the manager was no help at all. He said he would look into the matter and call me back the following morning. Three days later, I called the manager and, since he seemed to not even remember our prior conversation, I had to explain the entire situation all over again. He gave me another number to call and the woman who picked up that line was even less helpful. She kept repeating that they have no control over their manufacturers and didn't know when a new shipment would arrive. What?! I was pregnant and about to pop! Why hadn’t they told me that from the beginning?! To top it off, when I asked that they cancel the order and credit my card, they forgot to include the tax in my refund. I had to call back and get that sorted out as well. I swear, it would have been easier working with monkeys!

Cons: No customer service, staff is rude

I strongly suggest you find another store if you are looking to purchase nursery furniture. I had heard from friends that the customer service was not soo great, but I ordered my nursery furniture there anyway! What a mistake! They misquoted the shipping time, and once the order arrived (13 weeks later) it was the wrong set!! The store manager did nothing to expedite or appease the situation, not even an apology. She blamed the manufacturer and that was it. I will NEVER step foot in that store again. I'd rather pay alot more somewhere else knowing that I am getting honest and reliable information from the sales staff.

Customer service does not exist at bergstrom's children's store. i got a complete run-around from them, ESPECIALLY the "managers" jose and michelle. after three months of frustration i finally took my business some where else. i will never set foot in there again and i strongly warn anyone against doing any business there. they are careless and unprofessional and i guarantee you will find satisfaction anywhere else BUT bergstrom's children's store.
