I am in complete agreement with the two previous reviews. I have been a customer at Irvine Hair Co. for the past two years and I haven’t gone anywhere else since. The manager and the staff are very sociable and hospitable. They are excellent when it comes to styling and coloring hair at reasonable rates and fast service. They are great with children and I have brought my two daughters and son there for all of their haircuts. I have recommended them to my friends because I am highly confident that they will have the same experience that I have had over the past two years. If you are looking for professional hair-styling service from a highly skilled and friendly staff, I would definitely suggest looking into Irvine Hair Co.

As an on-the-go housewife/career woman, my special needs are fulfilled at Irvine Hair & Co. The staff is extremely courteous, professional, and constantly willing to cater to my busy schedule. This is the only place I will get my hair styled and colored, especially considering the tremendous values they offer. Other salons I have gone to recently do not seem to value the customer and do not have a welcoming attitude. At Irvine Hair & Co, you will experience a calm and relaxing atmosphere, where you will never be disappointed with the quality of service.
Pros: Friendly, On Time, Good Deal
Cons: None

I have enjoyed my every visit to the Irvine Hair & Company. I enjoy their hospitality, excellent customer service, value priced offerings of various services including color, hair cut, facials, massages, manicure and pedicure. The owner (James) always welcomes me there and the staff has a big smile when I walk in. Yonne( pronounced Evon) and Jennifer are my favorite there. They both are prompt, very courteous, professional and highly qualified. I feel so good after every visit that I am always looking forward to my next visit with them. I have tried all of their services and have been fully satisfied by the quality and results. Give this place a try and you will become a regular customer after you have tried it once. I have tried many salons in the past, however, this is the only salon where I feel most comfortable with cleanliness, courtesy, and professionalism. Their prices are very reasobnable for the quality of work performed by them. I strongly recommend Irvin Hair & Company to those who want to enjoy being pampered and serviced well . Why do people go to salons?. They go to salons , because they want to feel good and look beautiful. Well, this is the place where you will feel good and will be very happy as you will look your best after visitng them. ANother thing , I like about Irvine Hair & Company ( Located in Tustin) is they take in walk-in- customers as well as take appointments. This is very helpful, as sometime, you have an important event /meeting come up suddenly and you want your hair done , their flexibility makes it very convenient to get unplanned Salon services performed by their competant staff.
Pros: Service, Price, quality, parking, ambience and frienly atmosphere.
Cons: They need a better system to keep track of all appointments.

Stay away from this place! It appears very unsanitary and reeks of stale smoke. The owner stands outside and smokes right near the open front door. I came in for a simple manicure and asked for buffed nails, no polish. The woman proceeded and then tells me that there is an extra $5 charge even though I'm not even getting polish. Then she starts digging through dirty, cluttered drawers looking for the buffer. She couldn't even find it. I was getting frustrated and just told her to forget about it. I just wanted to get out of there. I will never go back, that's for sure!

Owner claimed to be a color expert but my hair was damaged so badly despite the additional conditioning. Color was totally uneven. I had to return 3 times, spending a m inimum of two hours each visit and it still wasn't right. I just gave up because my hair was so fried. He also cut it too short and styled it the way he wanted it styled- not at all what I requested

I decided to try this salon out because it is close to my work and home. When I walked in, I was greeted by the owner. He promptly sent me back to the shampoo girl, who took a good long time to shampoo my hair. When I was seated in the chair, the owner asked me what I wanted done. I explained, and he listened. He seemed very skilled with the haircut, and I was happy with that part of my visit. When it was time to blowdry my hair, things seemed a little strange. I am used to a stylist blowdrying my hair and using a brush to smooth it out/straighten it. The stylist/owner started to blowdry my hair and kept rubbing my hair very roughly with his hands. When it was finally dry (relief!) they put my hair up in hot rollers. The end result was satisfactory. I thought the service was excellent, the cut was good. I am still on the fence as to whether or not I will return. I just felt I was handled a little less gently than I liked during the blowdry. I will have to wash my hair and examine the cut-if it is really good, I will probably return. I would recommend going for a shampoo/cut, and doing the styling at home. That way you can save some $ and avoid the brutal blowdry....
Pros: Good haircut, good service
Cons: Rought handling during the syling process

I was drawn in by the low prices ($20-25) and the electic bordering on crazy decor. My conditioning treatment did leave my hair feeling healthier, but the entire time i was sitting under the heat lamp, all i could do was notice how dirty and unsanitary things looked. Then I got my hair cut and styled by the guy that owns the business. He was not gentle at all! he kept rubbing his hand on my forehead while he was trying to push my hair back. it was horrible. and he kept looking at himself in the mirror more than he was looking at me. Im not kidding. Dont go here!
Pros: Parking
Cons: Service
