High service call but fair price. Service call is $94.00 which is higher than competition but when applied to work, price seemed fair
Finally A Great Contractor!. I have lived in my home for almost 30 years in south Orange County. My wife and I were never happy with the heating and air conditioning that we had installed by a company in the early 1980's. It would run all day long on hot days, was very expensive to run, and never seemed to cool our house down very well! We decided it was time to replace this system and decided to get a few quotes. Aliso Air was our fourth and final quote on a new system for our home. Their salesman was the best of the bunch! He set up a sales quote around our schedule, and arrived promptly at the time we set up with him, the only one of the four companies to arrive on time! That said allot right off the bat! He walked through our home with us and asked a ton of questions about the problems we were having with the system. He took measurements and wrote notes on a detailed sheet. Two of the companies that came just walked through our home and didn't even write one thing down! The salesman then asked if he could bring in his ladder and look at the ductwork in the attic. He was the only one of the four that did this! You would think all of the companies would need to check something as critical as the distribution system, but they did not! He then sat at our dining room table and gave his thoughts and analysis of our system. He said we had a very old and inefficient system that was beyond it's useful life. He also said our ductwork was Asbestos! and had some sections that were damaged by previous work we had done. He also said the system was designed poorly due to it's age and the standard practices 30 years ago. He presented different system options to us based upon what he found and the questions he asked us. He said we did not need a "bells & whistle" system since we were not heavy air conditioning users. The other companies had tried to sell us the top of the line systems, not taking into consideration what we had said about our usage or needs! He did not try to hard sell us right there on the spot. He said he would put together and get a quote over to us by the next day after going through his notes. We received the quote and were blown away at the detail and great price compared to the others! We decided to have the system installed the following week. They also sent out a company to remove the Asbestos before they started. The installers arrived on time and did a great job. They worked for two days installing our new system and new ductwork. The ductwork was completely redesigned by Aliso Air. When the installers were done, they walked us through the system and showed us how to use and care for it. The installers were very knowledgeable and professional. I could not be any happier with how great the new system works! It is quiet, very efficient, and cools our two story home in no time! I am very pleased in all aspects of this purchase! We now no longer fight with our home trying to heat and cool it! We were afraid this major undertaking would be a big hassle, but Aliso Air made it great! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know! Great company to do business with! Thanks!…
Accomodating, Professional, and Good Pricing.
As a new homeowner on a tight budget, I called Aliso Air for a new system because my old one was damaged by the old owner. They worked with me to install a high quality system and at the same time
negotiated a price with me to make it affordable. The technicians were friendly and the customer service staff were accommodating. Love my new system!!
On a side note: Having worked for an air conditioning company in Los Angeles, I can tell you that the summers are CRAZY with everyone needed their air fixed right then. My recommendation is to make sure you get your proper maintenance checks before the summer and turn on your system to make sure it is working properly. Just some thoughts.…
Feeling the Cool Breeze Thanks to Aliso Air!!!!!. I had Aliso Air recently install a new central heating and air conditioning system in my home that was built without air conditioning. I have lived in my home for 22 years without air conditioning and decided it was time to add it! I received three bids and they were the middle bid in terms of price. My neighbors raved about Aliso Air, and they were right on in their recommendations! The salesman was the most detailed of all three companies and the installation crew was top notch! I had my existing furnace location changed from a hallway closet to the attic and Aliso Air was the only company to recommend this! I now have a new hallway linen closet where the old furnace was, and a whole new system in the attic! Finally I am feeling cool on those days I would spend at the mall when it was to hot! I would never hesitate to recommend Aliso Air to my friends and neighbors in the future!!!…
Quality Work & Consistency. I have been using Aliso Air for servicing my air conditioner and heating systems for 18 years. They have helped me with several remodels at different properties. Their rates are competitive, but it is their quality of work that I appreciate the most. Their technicians are very experienced and competent. It's an easy decision for me to use them again.…
Honest Business. My heater wouldn't work and I had Mike Diamond come out to look at it. They quoted me over $1,800.00 to fix it. Fortunatly they did not have the parts on hand so I called Aliso Air. They came out and were able to fix my heater for $119.00. Its nice to know there are still honest business' out there. I will recommened Aliso Air to all my friends!…
Great service, friendly staff, excellent company. Had another company come out and tell me my heater had to be replaced for almost $5000.00 and it was NOT repairable. Decided to get a second opinion and quite a few neighbors recommended Aliso Air. They came out and replaced a part for less than $200.00 and my heater is working just fine! The staff was friendly and got to my house the same day I called for service, I would recommend this company to any and everyone!…
Terrible Company All Around.
We too had Aliso Air design and installed the HVAC system in our home. The engineering and quality of their work is a joke. We have rooms that have hurricane force winds leaving the vents in some
rooms and other rooms in which there is literally NO airflow. It is impossible to heat or cool this house properly.
We have had Aliso Air out NUMEROUS times trying to correct this problem. They ultimately gave up and said "it is what it is". We ended up spending over $4000 adding additional units to the house to correct the issue.
Trying to get them out on a service call is a whole issue in itself. First, they have the rudest customer service staff of any company I have dealt with. You have to work on their terms or not at all. Second, they are always late to their service calls. Always the same excuse that the previous customer caused their delay.
They really seem to be stuck up on themselves. My recommendation is to leave them sitting in their offices and find another HVAC company to service or install your system.…
A+ Service and Quality.
Aliso Air has done both of my homes for me. Nothing but A+ service and quality. I would recommend Aliso Air to anyone that needs heating and air conditioning. Top notch company!
My first home Aliso Air did was 12 years ago and It is running great. The second home Aliso Air worked on for me was about 7 years ago and again no problems and nothing but great work and customer service!
Thanks Aliso…
Aliso Air Customers Beware.
We are the original owners of a 10 year old Standard Pacific Home that has air conditioning put in by Aliso Air. The coils were installed with shoddy workmanship causing leaks in the attic and
damaging the ceiling. To just repair the coils it will cost us $3000 to repair. Aliso Air only warranties its labor for a year and equipment for 5 years. Since the equipment is in the attic, there was no easy way for anyone to detect the leaks all these years unless we go into the attic on a regular basis. This should be a warning to the homeowner.
We called for help and Aliso was no help from a cost or service standpoint, choosing to stand by the letter of its policies. They went so far as to suggest that someone might have gone in and damaged the coils (highly unlikely). Aliso Air did poor work when this was installed about 10 years ago and was unwilling to even discount its services for fixing their screw up. Lesson learned is for homeowners to go up in your attic to verify the quality of their work.…
