Great Food!!

by SanClem

This place is your average dive bar except the food is actually really good even when your sober. She makes the absolute best quesadilla I've ever tried. The only thing I wish they would change is the fact that their bartenders get really drunk while working. One time she actually didn't realize that she had my credit card in her hand when I was trying to cash out. Anyhow, the place has great prices, and food. Definetley stop by.

  • Pros: Great food and prices
  • Cons: Bad service

Knuckleheads is not the place to go.

by Barman73

This place had bad service, that would rather smoke out on the patio all night, than serve drinks, and i think she was drunk, didnt even try the food, just moved on.

  • Pros: None
  • Cons: weak drinks, bad service

Terrific food and, soon, entertainment

by gersher

I was a head chef at the Dana Point Marriot for ten years and i was actually impressed and satisfied with the entre menue at Knuckleheads... my friends joke about me being somewhat of a food snob when it comes to sports bars like this - but it really did it for me.

Apparantly the owners are arranging for the Saddleback College jazz studies program to have their students play there on Mondays from 5:30 to 9pm. I've seen these perform guys before - they light up any place they play. I play trumpet and piano in this part of the county regularly and it's been a blast to see their college performances. The only part about this deal that distresses me is that many of the players are under 21, which may be a problem because of Knucklehead's ABC liscencing. I just hope they change that rediculous rule and let these kids play - they're fantastic! If they don't get in, where will i bring my of orchestra pit friends after rehersal?

  • Pros: comfortable staff and satisfying food
  • Cons: ABC liscening
