Tourists and locals flock to this boardwalk of fun-filled rides, treats and games. A nice change from O.C.'s major theme parks, the Balboa Fun Zone is free, with reasonably priced pay-per-ride tickets available for thrill seekers. The small Ferris wheel is the main draw. Or entertain the kids with a game of miniature golf, a bevy of arcade games or a trip on the Balboa ferry.
