awesome views and good bloody marys

some guy i was dating brought me here one sunday morning for brunch. we got patio seating overlooking the ocean. it was amazing! loved the tacos and and the drinks. really scenic and breathtaking view. the view eclipses the food.

• Pros: awesome view, great food and drinks
• Cons: always a wait

Best views, best food, holy shit that place is amazing!

We went there for our anniversary after a long walk on the beach. We got lucky to be seated right by the window overlooking the ocean, just spectacular! I am not usually big mexican food fan, but here it was amazing, a bit expensive but thats ok, it was worth it! I'm so happy we went there, even after seeing some not so good reviews. Had a really good time!

• Pros: Views, location, food (many choices besides mexican dishes)
• Cons: Small margaritas - had to get 2 :)

coffee anyone?

I went here for breakfast on a friday with a neighbor and ordered coffee and they would not serve me coffee only. very disappointed.

The best!!

Awesome!! I love the restaurant and location...great for summer drinks in the afternoon. Also, love the fact that the CFO voted Yes Prop. 8 !!....Its good to see someone standup and not give in to intolerant left liberals.

• Cons: Parking is sometimes tough...also, gets a little cold in the winter

Mediocre -- proof that Mexican food's flavor is typically inversely proportionate to its price.

This restaurant's view is spectacular and I for one found the service to be excellent, but the food is a joke. Overwrought presentation only adds insult to the overwhelming blandness of everything on the plate. The ceviche was terrible, the sole and chicken were dry, the seafood enchiladas were downright disgusting. Honestly, I can't think of a single restaurant experience in which I've felt so completely ripped off. Maybe I'm biased, having grown up in an area full of low-key taquerias in which $6 buys an enormous and flavorful meal. If you like honest Mexican cuisine, if you like flavor, this place is not for you. Nice view, though.

• Cons: Terrible food. Bland, bland, bland, and not cheap.

Food that is on par with the Spectacular view

This Laguna Beach treasure offers customers delicious mexican dishes to go with the stunning scene of beautiful blue waters and soft, white sand. The interior is just as beautiful as the birds-eye view of the beach, and the meals are fantastic and fresh.

Excellent food, Excellent view, Excellent service ... did I already say Excellent food?

I really love going to this place... Especially for the breakfast buffet on Saturday mornings. (On Sundays they have something different going on... but it's not the buffet.) Nothing beat a nice drive down PCH on a weekend morning. Plenty of parking which will cost you at the parking meter. I highly recommend making reservations the day before so you can walk past all the people up front and be seated like a VIP. I've never had to wait when I made a reservation. After you are seated you go to the buffet area. Grab a plate and have one of their omelet artisans create the perfect breakfast piece for you. I always throw a buck or two into the tip basket. You move on to fresh waffles, eggs benedict, sausage, fresh fruit and other treats I don't know the name of, but they are ALL GOOD. If you're lucky you'll be seated next to the window to enjoy the ocean view. With all this factored into equation you'd think it was expensive... but not at all. The breakfast is $13.95 per person ($5.95 for children under 12)... and the juices are like $2.00. Afterwards you can enjoy the ocean view from the gazebo a few yards away or enjoy a walk on the beach. I've created a lot of great memories around this place.

• Pros: EXCELLENT (fill in the blank). Everything about this place is great
• Cons: Having to feed the meter for parking...but is that really a con?

this place has the worst service ever. good food but the people do not care about the customer. they have volume so they don't care. when you have a reservation, they don't honor it. they served food that wasn't ordered and charged us for it. when they served the table, they reached over the guests and dropped water in the food. the absolute worst!! when we talked to them about it, they had "smug" smiles on their face...crazy. it's not the first time either...we're locals...this has happened more than once.... i guess we're the crazy ones because we went back.... :( not again. we're done.

• Cons: terrible service with no customer care

Nice locations for drinks

Nice placeto have drinks outside on the veranda. have a view of the ocean while you at it. Romantic. Food is on the average side, but the atomsophere is key.
