This Laguna Beach treasure offers customers delicious mexican dishes to go with the stunning scene of beautiful blue waters and soft, white sand. The interior is just as beautiful as the birds-eye view of the beach, and the meals are fantastic and fresh.

I really love going to this place... Especially for the breakfast buffet on Saturday mornings. (On Sundays they have something different going on... but it's not the buffet.) Nothing beat a nice drive down PCH on a weekend morning. Plenty of parking which will cost you at the parking meter. I highly recommend making reservations the day before so you can walk past all the people up front and be seated like a VIP. I've never had to wait when I made a reservation. After you are seated you go to the buffet area. Grab a plate and have one of their omelet artisans create the perfect breakfast piece for you. I always throw a buck or two into the tip basket. You move on to fresh waffles, eggs benedict, sausage, fresh fruit and other treats I don't know the name of, but they are ALL GOOD. If you're lucky you'll be seated next to the window to enjoy the ocean view. With all this factored into equation you'd think it was expensive... but not at all. The breakfast is $13.95 per person ($5.95 for children under 12)... and the juices are like $2.00. Afterwards you can enjoy the ocean view from the gazebo a few yards away or enjoy a walk on the beach. I've created a lot of great memories around this place.
Pros: EXCELLENT (fill in the blank). Everything about this place is great
Cons: Having to feed the meter for parking...but is that really a con?

this place has the worst service ever. good food but the people do not care about the customer. they have volume so they don't care. when you have a reservation, they don't honor it. they served food that wasn't ordered and charged us for it. when they served the table, they reached over the guests and dropped water in the food. the absolute worst!! when we talked to them about it, they had "smug" smiles on their face...crazy. it's not the first time either...we're locals...this has happened more than once.... i guess we're the crazy ones because we went back.... :( not again. we're done.
Pros: good food
Cons: terrible service with no customer care

Nice placeto have drinks outside on the veranda. have a view of the ocean while you at it. Romantic. Food is on the average side, but the atomsophere is key.

Food is good but view is even better! Try the margaritis and the the steak casadias. They are to die for. They also have a nice fire place outside but you have to get there early to get a seat.

the view is fantastic at las brisas but not much can be said about the food they serve or the service. we were greeted at the door by the host and we told them that we didn't have reservations. he told us that he was very held back and would need a few minutes to seat us. it took longer than 15 mins for him to find is a table when the restaurant was CLEARLY not busy. i ordered the lobster shrimp scallop trio and found it to be very bland. the lobster was burnt. the tuna tartare was pretty good. the only thing i enjoyed was the dessert. creme brulee is always delicious.

We just went there for our anniversary, and i can say that this is the worst dining experience of my entire life. First off, we were told it would take 20 minutes to be seated. After one hour, they took us to our window-side table. We quickly ordered because we were so hungry. It then took ONE HOUR TO GET OUR FOOD. The worst part of this is that I told the waiter i was allergic to margarine and that I couldn't have it in my food. The waiter came back and told me that Las Brisas USES MARGARINE IN ALL THEIR SAUCES. This place charges upwards of $40 per plate and they use margarine!!! Someone tell them that trans-fats cause horrific diseases. I ended up ordering a steak with nothing on it. When they brought the steak out, there was steak sauce on it. Why in the world would someone put steak sauce on a $35 piece of steak. It was a 12 oz. New York steak. Half of it was fat and could not be eaten. They ripped me off in that only 6 oz. of the steak were edible. During the meal, i asked the waiter about the ingredients of the chicken littles that i ordered for my child. The waiter said they used lard! Whatever happened to good old oil? Also, there were flys in the dining area that kept whizzing over our table. The guests next to us complained to their waiter to open a window and let the flys out. Upon receiving our bill, i noticed that the waiter had erroneously added two additional items (worth $40) to our bill that we did not order. He removed the items after i pointed them out. My advice, if you still need it after reading the above details of my recent misfortune at Las Brisas, is to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Best place to have a margarita and watch the sunset, especially out on the patio. Great food too!!!!

I dined at Las Brisas for the fourth time in the past few years on Thursday May 10th. I took a friend with me and we enjoyed, as I usually do, eating on the patio enjoying the view. I ordered the shrimp quesdillas, she ordered the steak tacos. Service was slow, but we were enjoying the drinks. When we finally received the food I noticed 3 small HAIRS on the plate mixed in with the food!! I asked my company what she thought they were and she said it looked like rodent hair. I immediately called the waitress over and pointed it out to her and to my amazement she said that IT WAS RODENT HAIR and that this type of things happens sometimes during the summer time. This HAPPENS SOMETIMES??? I couldn't believe my ears. The manager came out and offered us a new meal and several different explanations, claiming because of the oils they use, the rodents tend to be very interested in "what's cooking". Needless to say...we left the restaurant and enjoyed one of many restaurants that have the same view sans the rodent hair. The tables are so close on the patio at Las Brisas that several other customers left with us after overhearing and seeing the rodent hair on our plate! I was a regular customer to this restaurant when I was in town but now not only will I never go there...I will make sure no one I know will ever go there again either. There's too many nice restaurants in Laguna and throughout Orange County...Las Brisas better get it's rodent situation under control before they are embarrased right out of business.
Pros: Great view, Great Valet Service, Great drinks
Cons: Rodent Hair!! Slow service, Questionable Management

We went to Sunday Brunch a couple weeks ago. I wish we had gone to the IHOP instead. It is a prix fix menu and they charge $30 per person. I got the steak and egg. The steak was tough and terrible flavor for a NY strip. And one measly egg! And the egg was over cooked. I like the fruit dish and the champagne. Also it is brunch and they did not offer very many breakfasty items. I mean you have a choice off soup or salad??? At 10am??? Yuck. If you want the view come and have a drink on the outside balcony. Just avoid the food!
Pros: The View
Cons: The Food
