Took our loving Llhasa Jack to get a bath and haircut and picked up a scared, unbathed, poorly cut dog that we did not recognize. He was upset for two days. Should have known from the condition of the shop there was something wrong. We have always been told that Jack is the "best and easiest" to groom, something went very very wrong with Dog's Day Out. Please do not take your pet here. I did not contact them to complain as it was evident that anyone who would treat the animals and customers with this much disrespect was not worth the energy. I would not have given them the opportunity to touch my Jack again anyway.

I LOVE THIS COMPANY!! The staff is awesome, the hair cut is the best i have ever seen. my cat was soo happy. she strutted around the house like she knew she looked great. she was not all wierded out like she use to be when i took her other places. My cat will always go to DOG"S DAY OUT (p.s. they love cats too) that's a cute catchy little saying they have. they are very accomadating when you call for an appointment. i just can't say enough about this place. I LOVE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Seriously I don't understand how someone could have given this place a bad review. I took my dog here and he absolutely LOVED the two women who work there. And this was his first time getting groomed too and he was NERVOUS. The place looks clean (CLEANER THAN LARGE CHAINS OF GROOMERS). They treated my dog sweetly and left him looking great. Now about the person who said someone was smoking... if they DO smoke they must do it outside because it does not smell like tobacco at ALL inside and I am someone who can smell tobacco from far away. Either way this is a great place. It might be a small business but I'll take my dog here for the rest of his life.

Pros: They're flexible with schedule, clean, very sweet.

Cons: The place is kinda small.

alright i am all fired up about these "IDIOTS" bad comments!!! i get my 2 dogs done there and do to the aggressive problems with my dogs i stay with my dogs to be groomed. I have found NO groom shops that will allow me to do this. i have been evereywhere in this shop. the building maybe old but there is NO mold on the tubs, maybe "doggi" needs to get their eyes checked unless they are confused and can't tell the difference from porcelain covered cast iron tubs and mold. ok the cages that are on top of eachother... every groom shops,kennels, vet offices and pet stores the cages are nestle on top of eachother, is there any other way?? i have never seen a company with a single row of cages. now the smoking, one of them DOES NOT smoke and the other one goes out back in the designated smoking area. come on i think this person must need medication or something. she allows you to come back and look at the establishment with mold on the tubs, cigarette in mouth while holding a dog......LOL the only thing that is true about this comment is those 2 sisters are so sweet and very loving to the animals. i wouldn't go anywhere else in the world. and i tell everyone that compliments me on my dogs where i go.

Pros: great location, great grooming just great great great

I actually had the "privilege" of seeing the actual work space where they wash the dogs. It is very very unclean. There is mold on the tubs and kennels are stacked poorly on top of each other. The ladies, while they are very sweet and kind to the dogs, also smoke, and walk around with cigarettes in hand, right by the dogs!! I was completely appalled. If this doesn't bother you, then they are very sweet ladies who do a good job, but I personally would prefer a place with some health and cleanliness standards.

Pros: Nice owners

Cons: Filthy, unhealthy environment

I work in a veterinary hospital and so I am always getting feedback about groomers. I have never heard anyone say a bad thing about this place. My own dogs go here and I am very picky about where I take them. The place may be old but the ladies love the dogs and are very kind and gentle with them. Their prices are excellent and they do a fabulous job. I would never reccomend or take my dogs anywhere else. These are kind people who take pride in their work and actually care about the animals!!!

I don't want to start a thread here but................. i have been going to Dog's Day Out for over 13 yrs. and i can say those girls are doing something right :o) of course there is dog hair there DUHHHH it's a groom shop. and there is no one there that is rude, they are ALL very professional. i would ONLY take my dogs and cat to Dog's Day Out. don't take my word for it try them out you will be soooo happy you found them :o) and i think this might be a jealous competitor of Dog's Day Out not an actual client!!!!!

Pros: excellent workmanship

Cons: NOTHING!!!!

BAD BAD BAD BAD SERVICE THE PLACE IS OLD NOTHING IS CLEAN BIG FAT LADY SITTING THEIR HAIR ALL OVER THE DESK AND FLOOR THE CAGES WHERE SHE KEEPS THE DOGS IS HORRIBLE THE KID THAT WORKDS THEIR IS SO RUDE SHE DIDNT DO THE RIGHT SERVICE TO MY DOG AND IM SO MAD THAT I HAVE TO TAKE HIM TO ANOTHER GROOMER PEOPLE BE WARE DONT TAKE YOUR DOG THEIR.

The are very friendly and professional. They take pride in the job, loving girls to your pets!! i would not take my pets anywhere but to Dog's Day Out!!!

Pros: great location, friendly staff, GREAT JOB!!
