I take my children to Wild Rivers almost 3 times a month if not more! I know I can take them there and we are guaranteed a safe and fun time. The rides are great the water is clean the lines aren't too long and the staff there is soo helpful!

Pros: The fun atmosphere and friendly staff

Cons: summer doesnt last all year

A small step up from Hurricane Harbor and a giant step down for mankind... err... from Raging Waters. There are some good slides, but overall, it's pretty dinky and by the scent of the lazy river, it seems as though some intertubed guests got a little too lazy.

I visited this park today becuase we got free passes from our tire dealer. If I had paid I would be really upset right now. Let me start by acknowledging that I come from AZ and TX - so yes, I am still acclimating to the high prices that native Californians dont blink an eye too so forgive me for the following rant if you think its off base. Wild Rivers is overpriced to the point that I would never visit again. Its basically $29 a person, which quickly becomes very costly if you go with more than one person. Then add $8 parking. then add $5 to $8 for a raft (single/double). Dont think about foregoing the raft becuase many of the rides require it. Add another $6 to $10 for a locker, depending on which size locker you need ( I do not recommend the small, it will basically hold a single towel and a phone, wont hold a full bag of stuff for a family or something). Then after all that add on food and drinks. You of course are not allowed to bring in any of your own refreshments unless its water. Maybe the high prices are how they keep the lines short as mentioned in other reviews, but I also suspect the dated feel of the park is another contributor to the short lines. All in all, Californians should either utilize the array of free beach options available to them or take dips in any regular pool at their disposal in their communities/apartment complexes. Wild River totally not worth visiting. their variety of rides is so so and the quality of the rides - again, so so. The coolest thing they had was a feature called hurrican harbour which was like a body boarding strong wave pool - but of course entrance to that feature was an additional $5 a head. Ugh.

Cons: high high prices. go to the beach instead!!

As a teenager, I lifeguarded here for a few summers. Now, as a college student, it's a must-do when I come home for a summer. The place is a TOTAL blast.

Pros: Surf Hill, Short Lines, SURF HILL

Wild Rivers is the all-time best water park in Southern California, at most water parks you stand in line till you are completly dry waiting to get on the next ride, not at Wild Rivers. They do have cool rides, If they could only take some of the rides out of Raging Waters and add it would be awsome. Don't forget to try the Bazooka Bowls.

Pros: Inexpensive for food
