WOW .... Everyone is so friendly
by hahavroom
Ok... never done this before! I just read the comments below and i don't believe one thing he says . The whole transaction was so simple. my sales guy was kind of new so he introduced me to Howie , the sales manager. Howie was actually very helpful and respectful, he took his time finding me the right car. I actually went in to buy a 5 series and went home with a 6 series, it was only $50 bucks more per month, ok so its a stick shift ...but shouldn't a bmw be a stick?
I did lots of research, auto market is bad but BMW is still going strong, the guy probably made a dumb offer that why he said Howie pretty much kicked him out. Come on people , if you do not want to be offended, don't offend them and be realistic.
If you want a great deal, go see Howie at Irvine BMW and find out for yourself how nice and respectful he is.
I actually got a convertible, can't wait till the rain stop .
- Pros: everyone is so nice !
Totally Lacks Customer Service
by rei
Do NOT go to Irvine BMW!!! I've had two very disappointing car shopping experiences there.
The first time I went was last year. The salesperson (forgot his name--young, ample-sized guy) kept talking about how he likes racing, how often he goes to the tracks and how he's saving to get an M5. He was cocky and talked like a know-it-all. It was irritating! I ended up getting a car at Tustin Infiniti (consistently excellent service).
My second experience was very recent. Diamond was the salesperson who helped me and was courteous enough to deal with. When it came down to talking about price, we were going back and forth on the numbers. The sales manager, Howie, came over and abruptly ended the talks and basically gave me the boot. Howie is a schmuck who doesn't know the first thing about customer service. Anyway, I then went to Sterling BMW in Newport Beach and got my car there. While I was with the finance guy, Diamond from Irvine BMW called me to follow up, and I told him I was signing papers for my new car at Sterling BMW. He was shocked. That felt sooo good!!!
Call Brian Cummings at Sterling BMW for a positive car shopping experience--(949) 278-7833. He's knowledgeable and will treat you with respect.
- Cons: Incompetent Sales Manager
Great Deal and friendly sales person

I just purchased my BMW on Saturday 6/7/08. I came from out of town and visited two other BMW shops. These guys gave me the best deal and best service. I totally recommend them. I went to Crevier BMW and they we awefully arrogant and not willing to deal when needed. TIP: All shoppers of pre-owned BMW's should buy certified BMW's because they include a factory warranty!!! consider that if you're buying from a non BMW shop because it cost about $3400 additional for a good warranty coverage. Also buy the maintenance package because it pays for itself within 30k driven miles. Enjoy life:)
Best Orange County BMW Experience
by WilliamBeaver
I've purchased cars at other Orange County dealerships and I was very pleased with my experience at Irvine BMW. My salesman was Haoie Luc and he treated me with respect. He listened to me and then answered all my questions. There were no surprises and no bait and switch. The price I was quoted on the phone was the price I paid. Very cool. I would recommend Irvine BMW to my friends.
- Pros: professional, no surprises, great selection
- Cons: the dealership is big and the selection is a bit overwhelming to choose from
Worlds worst Dealership!!!!
by andrew59
Before I start, I am somewhat of a "car nut" . I have owned over 20 new cars from Mercedes and Porsches to Chevys, and Hondas, so I know what I am talking about. Irvine BMW is above and beyond the worst dealership I have ever experienced. I have never been so poorly treated.
First off the mark their cars up thousands over MSRP, then they refuse to give you a loaner car for warranty work even if you are towed in "because you didn buy the car here"
Their service department is a joke! They refuse to fix warranty problems calling them "wear items".
I could go on and on.
Usually I am complementary of dealerships and give them the highest ratings, As they seem to go out of their way to acomidate me.
Mercedes actually makes you want to buy a new car from them.
It's too bad because BMW is a better car, but next time it's back to Mercedes for me!!
- Pros: None
- Cons: HORRIBLE EXPERIANCE!! I WOULDN'T WISH IT ON MY WORST ENEMY!!
Avoid

They do not know what they are doing. They cannot fix anything and they are very rude. Take your car elsewhere.
Completely Unethical
by fathermartha
They tried to sell me some special body care package, which I politely declined, but then they wrote it into the contract, so I asked them to remove that section and re-print the contract. They reprinted the contract, but left it in, and I signed it without checking. Ergo, I now pay $40/month for a "deal" that I didn't want and asked to not purchase TWICE.
Their immorality is absolutely appauling. I cannot discourage you from going there enough.
Clowns selling Cars
by rmanninja
The title says it all. These guys are a joke. They are completely oblivious to the concept of customer service. I went in to purchase a car I leased earlier and experienced the most ridiculous treatment that can be belted out to a premier car customer. Heck my Honda dealer is a lot more sophisticated in customer service.
There is no proper communication style.
No continuity. You will end up talking to 10 different folks before anything actually happens.
Take your money elsewhere. The folks at Crevier & Newport are much better. Irvine BMW does not deserve your business.
Irvine BMW - Not Worth Risking Your Car with Them
by steelratt
I took my car into their service department for the 1st time, and they tried to sell me $3300 worth of repairs. They don't know how to interpert fault codes. They act like their techs are 1st year students in a high school auto shop. Buyer beware! Check out others opinions before taking your BMW into their service dept. Their sales dept is decent and knowledgeable and can do a good job in selling you a car.
