I was invited to a Soiree about 8 years ago. The education I received about lasers impressed me so much I had to have my own Soiree. This began my eight year relationship with AMA. I had alot of sun damage and thought I would have to live with it. The unique services at AMA not only cleared the sun damage, but gave me brand new skin! The expert staff has always taken the time to answer my many questions and work with me to get the best results. I would recommend AMA to anyone who wants healthy skin!

I never thought I would see my self having a facial so there I was for my first consult. I have to say that the staff was wounderful , warm , and caring. As I was having my facial the aesthetician always asked if I was comfortable, and would explain to me what she would be doing and if there was any discomfort which of course there was not. She was like an artist with the touch of an Angel ! The results were amazing, my skin radiant like that of a glowing star. I would recomend to every one to try it just one time and let others know about your experience.

I have been going to American Medical Aesthetics for months now and the results have been phenomenal! I had issues with acne and acne scars, and Dr. Alice S. Pien, M.D. took the time to figure out which treatments would yield the best results for me. The staff is amazing, and it is a great environment to walk into. It does not feel like a "medical" environement. You feel comfortable as soon as you walk in! American Medical Aesthetics offers a wide variety of services and products including laser treatments, facials and massages, and more. I was given an amazing "package deal" that allowed me to be able to afford the treatments I needed. You cannot find a more experienced and knowledgeable staff, and it will not cost you an "arm and a leg!" Call to set up a consultation today! You won't regret it!
Cons: There are no cons!

Ok, so being an old school male, i was very hesitant going in to get hair removal. Once i arrived in what i must say was a very relaxing office, I was set at ease instantly. The staff was warm and friendly and answered all of my questions. Everyone, front the person at the front desk, all the way up to the doctor was incredible nice. Now on to the procedure! COMPLETELY painless, and I was surprised as to how attentive the doctor was.... she kept asking me if i was comfortable (which i was) but its still nice to know that she cared. The results were much more than i expected. Three months later the treated area is still completely hair free and I feel more confident! I wanted to thank the entire staff for all of their help!
Pros: Atmosphere, Equipment, Staff
Cons: NONE

I have just finished by third series in a CP6. If you are looking for instant, dramatic results, this may not be for you. But if you are looking for a noticable, younger look that improves with time, then you have to give this a try. The doctor and staff explained how each laser stimulated the natural regeneration of your skin that would otherwise slow down with age. The best thing about going through the procedures is that your skin gets better over time. You actually see an improvement every morning and after every procedure the results accelerate. The procedures were mildly uncomfortable, but not painful and the results were worth it. I like to work out and keep my body in shape and I viewed these procedures as a work-out for my skin. The procedure instantly got rid of age spots and pigmentation, it gave my skin a nice even texture and color. I used to wear a full coverage foundation. Now my skin looks so much better that I switched to a tinted moisturizer and on weekends I just wear sun block. I am happy with the results.

Its ironic that I visited this site and happen to see the review by Diavious. Like Diavious I had pretty good skin when I went to see them 4 years ago. Like Diavious, they explained all the physics and physiology of what they could do with lasers. I too really liked the doctors and the staff. They took a lot of time to educate me and made sure I knew that they really cared about what I wanted to achieve. Like Diavious I had the CP6 treatment. Like Davious they told me that because my skin was is good shape to begin with, the results would be less dramatic than for someone with a lot of obvious damage. However they showed me all the data and reassured me that the physiological changes to my skin on the inside would keep my skin young and strong and beautiful on the outside. Honestly, I wasn't 100% convinced, by it made sense and I had the CP6 procedure. Just like they said, the results on the outside were not dramatic, though my skin felt wonderful and looked beautiful. That was 4 years ago. Now I know that they were telling me the truth... because at 41 years old I am watching my friends' faces age, and mine IS NOT. We all have an active outside life style, we all use sunblock and yet my friends have aged 10 years in the last 4 years.... and my face still looks like I am in my early thirties!! Bottom line, I am going back to American Medical Aesthetics to have another CP6 so I can keep my face young and healthy for as long as I possibly can. They are trully experts and their holistic approach really does work!
Pros: Incredible expertise, effective long term results, caring staff, robust education for patients
Cons: Not a quick fix (a good thing actually)

Free consult?? More like free sales pitch! I made an appointment for a consult on my skin thinking I would see a person with at least some medical background who could inform me of my options. I was greeted by a women in a lab coat with a very heavy mid-eastern accent. She was nice enough, but quickly whipped out her calculator to start selling me procedures . When questioned on some my conditions, it became quite apparent that she had no medical knowlege or idea what I was talking about. She just kept driving home how I needed this very expensive treatment and needed to buy three that day. When I told her I was not prepared to make a dicision quite yet she became a little insulting and ended the consult. If this is any indication of how the office is run, I think I will spend my hard earned money somewhere else.

I had one CP5 treatment a couple weeks ago. Maybe it's a little too early, but I honestly did not see ANY improvement in my skin. I'm really disappointed because I had so much hope going into this...the reviews I read were great and the doctors were amazing - incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and smart. I paid pretty big bucks for my laser treatment. I did one session (each CP5 session has five parts), although they typically recommend three sessions to most patients. In my case, I was told to try one first since my face has relatively little damage and unevenness. Before I shelled out more money, I wanted to see if the first one gave me measurable results...like I said...no improvements whatsoever. I looked like a lizard the first week after the procedure. After the peeling, my skin looked exactly the same as it did before...EXACTLY the same. I'm a little unsure of myself because these procedures seem to be working for a lot of other people. Maybe I have to buy a ton of sessions before I see results like theirs?...at that rate, the cost would amount to multiple thousands of dollars...not to mention, the lizard-face downtime after each session. The founding doctors seem really great and I truly believe they know what they're doing, so I don't want to discount their work. My best advice for anyone looking into this place is to make sure you fully commit yourself to it (meaning you may need to buy expensive packages since one won't do!). As for me, I think I'm going to try other options. =(
Pros: Awesome doctors
Cons: Noneffective treatment

The laser facial treatments absolutely exceeded my expectations. I had NO idea that my sun-damaged skin could ever look that good again. I get comments almost daily about how great my skin looks. The procedure, the follow up, and the results were all first rate. I wouldn't hesitate recommending American Medical Aesthetics to anyone.
