This place is dated with beds that are falling apart. Spectrum Tan is right down the street, I don't understand why anyone would take their chances on this place. Spectrum Tan's beds are better and so are the prices. They have a cleaning person but it just looks dirty.

This place rocks!!! I've been tanning in OC for years and just recently tried Unique Tan at the recommendation of co-workers. I thought I knew how to maximize my bronze. After just a couple of visits, the pretty young lady asked me if I would like to try a different bed level to stimulate my tanning further...something to do with UVA and UVB rays, something, something. Following her advice, I noticed that I got better results. In 7 years of tanning, nobody had recommended for me to change my bed levels around! Then they have this young guy who must be some kind of tanning lotion expert...now I always tan with a lotion and it seems like my color lasts longer. This salon is extremely clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are reasonable. I won't tan anywhere else! Keep up the awesome effort Unique Tan!

Pros: Great beds. Attentive staff. Always have my lotion ready for me before I walk in the door!

Cons: Can't think of any!

Hey your hero... are we talking about the same place?? Not only are their staff members sweet and educated but they have an amazing spray tan. They have their own spray from Europe and the tan you achieve from it is super chocolate ...not orange! I highly recommend tanning here if you want a warm, friendly experience with great results.

Awful. Customer service and prices are ridiculous. It looks like they have 2 good beds and they're $$$$$$$ to tan in even once.... if you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars its not worth it

I agree with the comment below, I have tanned her every spring over the past 2 years, it has gone way downhill. There is a new "manager" and new owners apparently AGAIN!!!!!!!! Last time I was told it was a good thing, this time I'm not being assured the same-- and this from their own staff members! Last spring it was a fun place to tan and now the staff is just awful and unprofessional and carry on lude innappropriate conversations that make a customer uncomfortable. I will not tan here any longer. I suggest you takek your business elsewhere.

Pros: The beds are good

Cons: Everything else, staffing is a real issue.

This was the worst rip off I have ever experienced. First I was blown away by the high prices for ONE tan $30.00! I was desperate as there is no other tanning place close by so I went for it. I tanned for 5 minutes as per the girls advice and I got NOTHING! No color at all. I called to let them know the situation and instread of being understanding they basically said they didn't care. They said that they don't let anyone do another tan without paying for it. I told them that was very unfair and bad business but she just kept talking about her tanning beds. I summed it up by letting the manager know that I will tell everyone what a rip off this was and she said she didn't care. I tell everyone to avoid this rip off! I just found a great place in Irvine and paid a fair price and get a great tan the first time!

Pros: Absolutely NONE!

Cons: TOO EXPENSIVE--Beds Don't TAN and they DON"T CARE!

Stop-and-Chat or In-and-Out service, friendly and attentive girls. Nice place. Single tans are pricey, but very good packages, accomidating with payments. Staff is impressively knowledgeable and helpful. Beds are better than other local salons. Good environment, good music, clean, not intimidating, small staff- more personable. (I call ahead and they hold a bed open and get my lotion out for me.) I referred a friend and got a free tan, didn't even have to ask. Makes tanning a pleasant and relaxing part of the day (or week).

I have been going here off and on for many many years and now I hear from staff that the place is going to be cleaned up to bring the store back to where it used to be in the early days when it was new. Finally! And come to find out that it's being done because of new ownership. This place is wonderful but has been neglected and in need of a face-lift. Now that I know what will come - without changing in prices - I won't go anywhere else. Thank you new owners!
