What users are saying:
horrible food, cheesy show, bad actors, cruel to horses
by MammaDukes
We went here with my younger cousin because he heard so many good things about it. First of all -- the idea of food and horse poopie never sounded so hot... but i never really understood how strong the smell would be!
They serve your food in complete dark and give you huge chicken legs, undercooked. With the smell of horses, it was hard to know if i was eating pea soup or horse poooop.
NASTY food. I completely lost my appetite. Acting was horrible. As we left we saw the poor horses being confined in their rooms and no water.. ... this place should be shut down
- Pros: diversity
- Cons: stinky, unpalatable food, dirty, bad acting, animal cruelty
great fun with the family or friends

I've always had a good time going to the Medieval Times. I really like food. I really like the vegetable soup and the roasted chicken. I love how we get to eat with our hands; that's so much fun. I love the show too. When you first arrive at Medieval Times, you get your picture taken and then they assign you a section to sit in. The color of the section determines which knight you cheer for. It's awesome. I love sitting in the crowd, wearing his colors and cheering loudly for our knight. The service was great; the employees were very nice and friendly as well.
- Pros: get to eat with your hands
- Cons: have to eat with your hands
Great fun birthday place!

While not for everyone, if you're in a goofy mood, and don't mind eating with your hands, Medieval Times is a great choice for kids and preteens. It's really expensive here though.
Knights and fair maidens feast with their hands while watching a medieval joust at this party destination.

In Short
Whether in search of family fun, a fun date spot or a party pleaser, Medieval Times caters to all three--high in kitsch appeal and youthful excitement. The venue is a replica of an 11th-century castle, and houses a historical museum of torture along with a Grand Ceremonial Arena, where diners eat chicken and ribs with their hands and watch knights on horseback joust for honor.
Step back in time!

The minute you enter Medieval Times you are surrounded with knights, queens, and kings. Before the show starts you can have something to drink, purchase medieval jewelry and swords at the shop, or take a closer look at the beautiful horses that perform in the show. Root for your knight and enjoy a great meal. My expirience there was fun. The chicken was deliciously juicy and REALLY BIG for one person if you ask me. The dessert could have been a little better, otherwise I have no complaints! The sounds, smoke, and nature of the jousting might be a little scary for very young children. I personally would not bring any child under the age of 5 to the show. The show is slightly interactive with cheering and flag waving, come only if you are in the mood to be silly and step back in time!
- Pros: Realistic Costumes, Large Food Portions, Great Service
- Cons: May Scare Young Kids
