We had a horrible time at this restaurant. The hosts had bad attitude, they were unfriendly and were very unprofessional toward guests. We were told that the wait would be an hour long but it ended up over an hour an a half. Then when it was finally our turn, they made us stand on the side and kept on saying they were getting our table ready, so we waited for like 15 more minutes then they told us they made a mistake and said there was no table ready for us. Finally after a two hours wait we finally got a table. The food was only ok. I didn't think the food was worthed for the price. I will definitely not going back to this restaurant, and I will never recommend this place to anyone!

Out of all the venues in all the different cities I’ve been to the House of Blues in Downtown Disneyland is by far my favorite. The place is small and has so many different levels no matter where you go the acoustics are great. I especially like to sit in the upper portion right above the stage. Come early to snag a spot in line and keep in mind that with a location like this tickets are usually sold out ahead of time.

The House of Blues is probably the best concert venue in america. They always have top notch bands and no matter where your standing your up close. Security keeps things in check, and their prices for tickets are very reasonable

Pros: big name bands

Cons: nothing

We were at the HOB Anaheim for a concert on 10/10/06. We decided to have dinner beforehand and we were pretty disappointed. I ordered the burger with fries and my girlfriend ordered the Jambalaya. The fries in my meal tasted lukewarm and stale like they were three hours old. The Jambalaya was a disaster. The sausage was overcooked and tough, the sauce was bland and tasted like it was straight out of a can, the meal was not hot, and it just didnt taste very good overall. The service was a different story. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. She brought us refills without us asking for them and she made many visits to our table. My main gripe about the food being bad was that this place seems to bill itself as a great place to eat. The name of the Executive Chef and sous-chefs are prominently displayed at the top of the menu. If you visit their websites, theyll show you pictures of the food & desserts and describe the menu as Distinctive Southern Cuisine. Unfortunately, our first impression of the food at the Anaheim location was that the food staff doesnt really care about the quality. If you choose to eat here, try to order items that are hard to screw up.

I've seen some amazing shows here. Built to Spill (twice). Joe Jackson. The Dismemberment Plan. I have never been disappointed with the sound quality, nor the grand decor. Ticket prices aren't too steep. For any dishearted citizen of Orange County, who feels they are lacking in a good concert memories, make the HOB you first good concert memory.

I love the HOB. I've been a frequent customer both at the Anaheim and Sunset venues. So, when I was looking for a place to take my fun-loving extended family to brunch, I thought the HOB Anaheim would be perfect for them. Regretfully, I have to say that I was not impressed with the food, drinks, and overall presentation. I'm not a picky eater, by any means. Started off with a Bloody Mary that tasted more like a tomato slushy, it was a meal unto itself. I expected more fresh items and more desserts. You get the traditional mac 'n' cheese, potatoes, omelette bar...but only two desserts were offered (bread pudding and a plate of cookies)and their fresh fruit was in one bowl that looked like left-overs from the 10am seating. We enjoyed the music, although extremely loud.

Pros: Ambiance, Validated Parking

Cons: Over-Priced, No Fresh Items

LOL, I am glad I am not an Angelino. I sat outside on the patio to have lunch on a day when many were standing in line waiting for a table inside because at 60 degrees they were freezing. Service was so-so, the waiters seemed confused as to who was waiting on who. Ordered their Blues Burger which wasn't bad...fries were a little cold. Had a Moonshine speciality drink, it's now one of my faves. One new waitress stopped by to chat and literally talked my ear off while I tried to eat. Fun spot to watch people passing by. The flower fountain nearby will spew water high into the air so don't sit too close to the front unless you want to get a light mist.

Pros: fun people watching, food is not bad, good drinks

Cons: a little high priced

What's cool about the staff at this H.O.B. is that if there's more than a hour wait to get seated & eat, if you grease their palms w/a $10 or $20, you're NEXT to be seated...so when you're with a large group...a couple of extra bucks to get seated right away, eat & watch the show is nothing! Well worth it...the scene is fun & there's always pretty people to look at :).

Pros: FUN, Pretty people
