Tips for Disneyland Park

“Great icecream cones at the Gibson Girl Icecream shop is a must when in Disneyland in the afternoon. Now that it's a newly renovated space the service is far better.

Overpriced.. My wife, grandkids and I visited Mickey on a weekend trip a couple of weeks ago. It was a bit of a grueling experience for me, but my grandkids had so much fun, now there's talk of another trip, going big this time, to the Florida location. Before this happens, I'd like to share some of the experiences we had at the park and nearby attractions. I spent a small fortune on this weekend trip, I suspect even more than I would normally spend than on a one week trip, so I might as well have my 2 cents.

My grandchildren are at the age now where they could easily recognize the famous characters, so we were in the middle of merchandising haven. At the park, we made an early reservation for light parade special seating. We were provided boxed snacks filled with chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, and a variety of other sweets to help my grandkids get really loopy. For all the money I shelled-out at the park, they were able to manage to make me feel like a school kid again with a boxed lunch, except this is not ideal for me.

We had a variety of adventures at the park, some good, some excellent, unfortunately overpriced for most. I think I reviewed the ones that stuck out the most in my memory. Hopefully the next person won't make the same mistakes I have and take advantage of the good ones.

Heading to the Magic Kingdom and can't stand to leave Fido at home? Bring him along.. In Short
If you're planning a trip to Disneyland, no need to leave your canine friend at home with a long face. For $10 a day, put your pet in Disneyland's kennel while you enjoy the park with your family. Stop by to walk your dog or just to visit whenever you want. The kennel is located to the right of the main Disneyland entrance, so be sure to get your hand stamped for in-and-out privileges.
