I was referred by a girlfriend of mine who also had a procedure done at Athenix and she looked absolutely amazing.

I have 2 little ones at home and unfortunately my body doesn’t look like it did when I was 25. But priorities change and I decided a little extra help for my problem areas was warranted, especially on my tummy. I went with Athenix based on my girlfriend’s results and because I’ve heard horror stories of having the old type of liposuction where you’re black and blue for weeks and in pain.

So I did the Microbody sculpting on my tummy and thighs and I’m really happy with the results. It was not painful, other than when the nurse gave me an initial local shot, I’m not a big fan of needles! I was awake during the procedure and could look down and see my thighs getting thinner. The procedure took about 2 hours in the morning and I was home by the afternoon. I was a sore the next day as the staff told me I would be. But it wasn’t too bad and I’m kind of wimp when it comes to physical pain. I wasn’t black and blue but I was a little swollen. I had my procedure done on Friday and was able to go back to work on Monday. Although I probably could have used one more day to rest. I was up walking around on Saturday as they recommended. My tummy is now completely flat and no longer sticks out when I wear a shear evening dress. My outer thighs are also slimmer and no longer bulge out on the sides, it’s amazing. I’ve already been shopping 4 times since having this done – It’s finally fun to try on cute clothes again.

A couple of tips: 1) I wish I would’ve also had my muffin top area done at the same time. I was hesitant because I didn’t want too much done at once and wanted to see the results first. I love my results but now I will have to pay for another room charge to go back and get more areas done. 2) try to get a morning procedure time. My girlfriend was scheduled in the afternoon and an earlier case ran long so she had to wait longer to get hers done. 3) take arnica as it really seems to reduce any bruising.

Last tip, my only regret is that I waited too long to have this done. The cost was around $4,800 which I thought was reasonable. I finally had to say to myself, I’m worth it.

Athenix Body has the highest technology to get the best results! I am very happy with mine and would recommend Athenix to anyone wanting to improve their body. Staff is friendly, professional. Surgeons are honest and very skilled. Thumbs up!

It was the best experience. Wonderful friendly, helpful staff. The Dr. was great did a wonderful job . I had the "Body Sculpting" extremely happy with the procedure, would do it over and over again. The best thing I have done for myself. Thank you Athenix and all the staff for making it a great experience and a great job!

Dr. Bernett is beyond amazing! I did lipo-sculpture there 2 weeks ago. I am amazed by the difference in my body. I did my upper, lower and middle abs and my flanks aka muffin-top and chin. I was a little scared about the possible pain, but after being awake through the whole procedure I got up and walked off the operating table. The doctor and nurses make sure you are comfortable during the procedure they explain everything that is going on, and when they saw I was a little anxious, the nurse held my hand ;-) Renee is the nurse who has seen me before and after, she is down to earth, answers any and all questions and is very patient and caring. I did the procedure on a Friday, went back to work Monday and am fitting into clothes I haven't worn in years. I am a very very happy client. I am going to do the velashape for my legs soon. My weight has been up and down over the years but I never could lose my tummy no matter what I did. . If you are not in perfect shape (like me) this is not a magical cure, if is more like a HUGE jumpstart. BUT that is explained to you prior Dr. Bernett was very upfront with me as to what I could expect, (I had really let myself go) and I am beyond thrilled with the results. I have already recommended to all my friends, tt's something I wish I had done it years ago.
