Happily Surprised. So it was my birthday last week and my husband surprised me by taking me to get a couple's massage. I have seen Massage Envy all over the place but was very skeptical of the quality of their services. I figured they would rub your back and send you on your way. So when we walked in I was excited, but kept my expectations low. The place is very clean, and smells amazing. They have you fill out some paperwork specifying your troubled areas and the firmness you prefer. And then they escort you into the waiting room which is very relaxing. Then your massage technicians come and show you your room. The technician was very thorough, asking me where I would like her to focus. She spent a lot of time on my legs, and back, working out every single knot she could find. I felt amazing after, completely relaxed and ready to take a nap. I ended up signing up for a year membership because the deal was too good to pass up. I can't wait to go back for my next massage. That reminds me, I need to call and make my appt.
not pleased. I scheduled a service for a weekend day. I was called the morning of my appt. and was left a voice mail message, saying that the person who was going to do my service, called in sick, then when I called them back, they said it was a family emergency, so which was it?? This would have been my first time going to ME, and I was really looking forward to it, now I'm very disappointed that my appointment was cancelled, due to a flaky employee?? Not nice!!
