Great Service, Clean and Excellent Sandwiches.. I have a problem when someone post lies about a great establishment. Rio Java's is not a 3 mile ride back to housing or the Albertson's off of Yorba Linda Blvd. Anonymous 1324 could have peddled up to Albertson's to get water from the drinking fountain. So do people out there in La La land really think a business should accommodate cups, water, electricity and gas for free? Seriously...human necessity, you knew you were riding your bike on a hot day, and yet you did not take water? How old are you? The service at Rio Java is a very friendly place, they have awesome sandwiches. They only use Boar's Head meats and cheeses, fresh veggies and great choices of bread for their sandwiches. Great atmosphere, I often take a book to read and have lunch. The owners never ask me to leave and are very friendly!...you want the best sandwich in Yorba Linda or Anaheim Hill's, Rio Java is the place to go.

Terrible service! No respect for human life. I came by once and simply asked for 2 cups of ice water (for me and my friend because we had just biked 8 miles and were very tired and thirsty. We didn?t have any money with us). But she looked at me angrily and said how it cost her money to give out free water.

So in that 85-degree heat, my friend and I were forced to bike 3 miles back home without a drop of water passing through our lips.

If you ever stop by this area, hungry or thirsty, avoid this place. There?s EZ takeout and a sushi place I think. But don?t go here. I asked nicely and was denied a human necessity.

If a small cup with water is too much to ask, then I?m sure it?s not too much for me to ask that you just avoid this place. I think the only thing nice about Rio Java is their sign.
