Brea >Professional Tutors of America
Since 1983, Professional Tutors of
America has been providing one-to-one tutoring for thousands of children throughout the United States. Their tutors are all Professionals who have a minimum of a 4 year college degree. Most of their tutors are credentialed teachers who are specialists in their respective areas and levels of education, including bilingual and special education.
I really like the programs they have military members and veterans.
Simply the Best. I have worked for Professional Tutors of America for about a 1 and 1/2 and I can honestly say I love them! Prior to working with this company I worked for another undisclosed large tutoring company in the the LA area and they are not up to par with the standards of PTA. As an employee, I don't feel like a number my supervisor Cesar answers my concerns in a timely manner. I have recruited all my former clients to this company because PTA not only cares about the students but about their employees. Students are provided with learning materials by the company and not simply given a learning plan and a tutor to figure out where to start. I have friends who are on the waiting list to be hired for PTA, I feel not only lucky but proud to be an employee for PTA!! =))
questions and concerns. I am a fully credentialed teacher-tutoring with professional tutors of america. I have been taken off the list of tutors because I am not bilingual or a woman. I think it is discrimination to be left out for the reasons mentioned and I will probably seek legal attention. I have been a tutor for over four years and I feel that my credentials alone should allow me to tutor latino children.
