Its a neighborhood bar. So get over it!

Ive been in local bars from Newport to Pasadena to Hermosa to Ventura and this is one of the best "LOCAL" neighborhood bars I have come across. It's not a stuffy uptight bar. no one really cares what you do there or what you wear. Not sure where the comment about jacked up trucks and skin indi shirts came from. That must be truck night.. ?which I dont think exists? There are tattoos, but whats wrong with a tatt on a girl. If you are looking for a stuffy bar or one where the kiddies go, yea.. I would stay away, but if you want a neighborhood bar that is somewhat of a dive.. you found it! Did I forget to mention, the bands are great on weekends.. and the food is really good.
- Pros: cold beer, great music, good eats, friendly staff
- Cons: hard 2 get a seat later, and no one plays pool

Wow. this place stinks

Tons of bros and bleach blondies. it looks like people come from as far as riverside to come to this place. This is not a "neighborhood bar" this is a dive. it attracts a certain kind of crowd that i don't care to be affiliated with (Dudes with jacked up trucks, crappy tattoos, and skin industries shirts). im suprised to see howmany good reviews this place has on here. Yelp gives it 2 stars.
- Pros: 16 dollar pitchers of beer
- Cons: 1 dollar pints

No Comparison in North O.C.

Just stumbled across these reviews for the Canyon and i'm a little surprised by ANY negative comments. My wife and I are in there a couple weekends a month for "Echo Love Chamber" and we've always had a great time. I worked as a bartender in college, and trust me, you don't know what these guys go through on busy nights. And it gets busy! Just treat em' with respect, relax and have a good time. See ya' this weekend for Echo!
- Pros: Fun-relaxed attmosphere. Great music & food.
- Cons: Does a get a little crowded sometimes.
