Stay away from this place!!! Warning all Orange County residents and anyone else who could fall victim to their lies and deceit. I purchased a vehicle a few weeks ago, used of course, and was lied to about the Carfax report and emissions tests. The vehicle after 4 days began chugging fuel and the check engine light came on. Took it in and comes back with "LOW COMPRESSION/CRACKED CYLINDER HEAD/GASKET." Said they fixed it and convinced us to keep the truck. 2 days later same problem! Back in and gee, the other side now has low compression and needs work done AGAIN!! This time they are charging us for something that should have never passed emissions to begin with. This is a place my family has given business to for decades. In addition, the carfax report on the same day the original inspection was done has a 6,397 mile variation!! That's a ton of test drives or FRAUD! We were offered the ability to unwind the deal or pick another vehicle so we asked about another car. Was already til someone sold it out from under us, so now we were stuck. Then, was informed that the lender who picked our loan up has ditched Fairway Ford for "shady business ethics"... This happens the sale after ours of course, so now we are left with a vehicle that is NOT mechanically sound, and their last guarantee of repair was shot when the check engine light came on a second time. Just wanted to inform anyone who is looking for a car to STAY AWAY FROM FAIRWAY FORD! They will screw you!

oh, and how can i forget the advertised mpg... 24-29 on a 2006 ford ranger?!?! ummm... more like 8-10mpg! which is EXACTLY why we took it in for repair, aside from the check engine light being on as well. **See pic posted! LOL

Great Experience for over thirty-five years with these folks. I would highly recommend this Ford dealership and actually do. I bought my first new 4wd truck from them in 1975 and several other vehicles since. The sales men and women have always been great and their service department is fantastic. I have recommended several family members and friends and not a single one has ever complained. Now I live in Colorado Springs and the only Ford dealer around is Phil Long. I really didn’t know how good I had it until I moved. Anyway, for my next Ford I will drive back to California and resume doing business with Fairway.

Bad Experience. I would stay away from this dealer. I had a poor experience at this dealership. I had been looking for a pre-owned SUV and drove quite a ways after work one night, after speaking with a salesman on the phone. When my boyfriend and I went to test drive the SUV, it was making a light high pitched squeal that the salesman pretended he did not hear. When my boyfriend test drove it, he felt transmission issues which again the salesman pretended to know/hear anything. That right there made me lose complete trust, he would have been better off admitting there were some things wrong with the car and trying a different one. He had the typical “Oh we guarantee anything, we take care of you” motto and tried to tell us that the SUV had a warranty, but we had to PURCHASE the car to activate the warranty. Who in their right mind would purchase a vehicle with issues from the very beginning? Then after our request, he has another manager drive the SUV and the manager didn’t sense anything wrong (glad we didn’t purchase it for them to activate a warranty if they didn’t find anything wrong with it!) After this, the salesman takes us out the back and brings us to some other SUV’s and says “These you will not have a problem with, you will not hear any issues..They are new” These “new” SUV’s were $40,000 when he knew my budget was 18,000! It came off as very arrogant and rude. Like you can’t expect a 3-4 yr old SUV to run well and not have transmission issues? What a joke. My boyfriend and I walked away and we agreed we would never purchase from this dealership, no matter how great of a deal they ever had.. shady and negative experience. Try McCoy Mills Ford in Fullerton, I ended up purchasing from this dealer and had a wonderful experience. VERY happy with my purchase of a pre-owned SUV from them..Would highly recommend. Stay away from Fairway
