Good not great. I had the special. A tuna filet. It was overcooked for my taste with too much salt. The drinks were great though.

Manager was rude and non-accommodating!!!. I love MB's food and drinks. Their claim chowder is my favorite but tonight was the LAST time I will go there. >>

It was my friend's 23rd birthday and we reserved a table 2 weeks prior for a large group of 22. We get there and were told we need to wait 20-30 minutes. That wasn't a big deal since they seemed busy and may still need time to set up. But we needed to be out of the restaurant within 2 hours to make it to a reserved night club in L.A. >> I go up to the manager after 30 minutes pass and he says we will need to wait another 30 minutes! WTF??? I asked him why he did not give us an honest answer from the very beginning. He responds with "What do you want me to do? Tell the other people to leave?" >>

First, we had reservations. Second, the manager should NOT have been so rude to talk down on me. We are in a recession and I would think they would do all that they can to accommodate their customers. With our big group, the restaurant easily lost at least $400 in revenue. With 18% gratuity, that's $72 a waiter/waitress just lost for the night.

Market Broiler did not help their customers or their employees. I WILL NOT GO THERE!! >>

Our group decided to have dinner at Johnny Rockets and they were wonderful! We were in a big hurry. The manager there did an awesome job and even set up extra outdoor heaters for our group :)

Great family frendly seafood restaurant. A classy, family-friendly seafood restaurant at surprisingly affordable prices for such a unique and relaxing setting. The service was professional yet casual. The menu presented opportunities to satisfy the most fickle tastes. All in all a pleasant dining experience.

Superior Fish House. Why isn't this fine restaurant listed as a fish house? My guests and I had some of the best fish we have ever ate. Mesquite grilling the freshest fish around. Great appetizers to boot.

Great lunch spot. After doing a little shopping, my mother and I had lunch at the Market Broiler about a month ago. Our waitress was wonderful. She was friendly and attentive. We each had a lunch portion of different fresh fish items and loved them. My mother also had the New England chowder and loved that as well. The restaurant was a little loud just because it's a slightly cavernous with the high ceiling, but overall it was a nice lunch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch.

Menu price discrempency. After buying clam chowder bread bowls here for 3+ years & paying $3.95 a bowl, we were charged $3.95 for the bowl plus $4.95 for the clam chowder. A manager came over & said the other waiters were charging us wrong all these years. Even though the price on the menu states $3.95. He told us the water & bread were complimentary even though it costs them money with electricty to make the ice etc. This was embaressing to be treated this way. We were only asking why we were being charged a different price than normal & what was listed. Service is bad & waiters are rude. Another waiter we watched drop a lid to water pitcher on ground outside & picked it up & replaced on ice tea pitcher & served a table out of that pitcher. We eat here often & wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The guy below me reads too many novels. I think it's a great place to eat and he needs to just loosen the elasticity on his underwear cuz he is too uptight. Good job market Broiler!

Average. On a chilly december day at the Block at Orange my famished soul trekked alongside the dregs of society with bitterness on my tongue, and emptiness in my belly. Coming upon an aroma worthy of the sea. I walked through the threshold of the market broiler, only to be served by an inconsiderate server of the most sophisticatedly deficient order. Am I the only one who expects an offer on a refill? So I left (after tipping him what he's worth) with the taste of average salmon, run of the mill ribs, and tongue depressing cheese dipped potatoes leaving my mood in disgust.
