worst sports bar in orange county!.
Management treats return customers; oregon alumni watch party, as if they were the scum of earth. OCSG has benefited from 10 weeks of being the designated "watch party site in orange county". Service was pathetic, bartender was an assshole. food was similar quality as Denny's, waitress was a little bitch.

Good waitresses,...not here.....
We were there for a birthday celebration, so there were more than a few of us, about 10-12. Service was as slow as a snails crawl. You would think for a automatic 15% gratuity the waitress would have been on it to make sure we had food and drinks to build up her tip. It took us 15 min to track her down and another 20 minutes to get the drinks. The food has been better, now I think you are paying for deep fried grease, there is no flavor to the appretizers that we ordered. Then when it came time for her to go home (thank goodness) and close out the tab, we could have done without the attitude from the waitress, who offered to separate the bill for those with credit cards, then seemed upset about having to do it. Unfortunately her replacement was not much better, she seemed to be mingling with the crowd a bit too much and forgetting about her cash cow as by this time our party had added a few more people, who again were left thirsty and waiting....again for an automatic 15% she should have been on top of it. Waiting 10-15 min for a waitress to appear is not good customer service. A good waitress should regularly check in with her larger parties to make sure they do not need anything..Especially to build up that automatic tip.. But I guess they are lacking that too...Good waitresses are so hard to find...or at least cannot be found at Nationals in Orange.
Would not recommend this place to anyone, they could use a remodel, don't think the place has been touched since it opened. The bathrooms seemed like they needed a good cleaning, the place overall seemed dumpy..

Sports Fan's Dream.
What a great place to watch the game. The waitress' are beautiful, the beer is ice cold, the food is better than most casual restuarants what more could you want. Check this place before an Angel game it is definetly the place to be, specially after the game when the players start showing up. Take the family or just by yourself it will not disapoint.

Great music.
you'd think since it was across the street from a college, the place would be swarming with guys and girls looking to hook up like crazy...but i didn't feel that pressure there...the music was great..went on a friday nite and to my surprise wasn't too packed!!! the drinks were not the strongest but not the most expensive either...small place yet not too crowded!

Hoist a brew or chow some grub in this baseball-themed national chain..
The Scene
It's obvious that National Sports Grill is only about five minutes away from Angels Stadium. To the right of the entrance are actual stadium seats signed by various sports figures, and the walls are lined with baseball photos and memorabilia. As if that weren't enough, the entire place is divided up like a baseball diamond. Head to Left Field for some grub (this is the restaurant side, where kids are welcome), hit Right Field for the bar and 11 tournament-sized pool tables, or grab a seat on the outside patio called, what else, the Outfield. Boasting 60 TVs (four of which are big screens), National guarantees that you won't miss a play.
The Draw
Because it's divided between the Grill and the Bar sections, National is a very family-friendly place. Expect to see Ma, Pa and the kids mingling with sports fans and pool sharks.
