New italian restaurant (no longer Peppinos).
Friendly staff, great food-working our way slowly through the menu.
They have some fantastic soups (clam chowder on weekends, cream of broccoli, cream of mushroom...), they have all you can eat spaghetti or lasagna and their meat sauce is excellent-has lots of carmelized onion in it.
Very good veal piccata, chicken version not as good.
My son likes their veal parmigana sandwich (huge!).
We like their pizza, but usually take it home and eat pasta there.
Their garlic bread knots just disappear, they're so good.

worst food ever.
i am a regular guest of the original peppinos in Lake Forest. Let me tell you that this one is the only one NOT owned by Joe, the Peppino owner. The food is terribe and a disgrace to Peppinos. Anyone who thinks it isnt obviously isnt Italian doesnt know what real Italian food tastes like. This location is nothing like the other 6 Peppinos. Food is over salted, sauce is watery and over all the food isnt made correctly. Do yourself a favor and eat at any of the other locations but do not eat at this one. Total waste of money and time.

Peppino's.
My office is next to Peppino's and I must say they have incredible pizza. Everyone I've ever taken there (and that's a lot of people) they've all said, "The pizza is the best they've ever had." My favorite is their baked Ziti with Meat Sauce...So delicious! The staff is always nice and the owner Mike is always on hand talking to you and asking you how everything is. Yes, I did say the owner (not employees or managers) is the one asking you how your meal is.
