I love this store. This is the second time I've been in this store. I now live in Florida so don't get home much. The first time I went it was just by chance. This time, I put it on my "must do" list. It's a wonderful store. And the staff is friendly and helpful. It's worth the trip to Old Town Orange - you can make a day of it, since there is so much to do but you MUST go to Down Home American Country. It's the best.

great place for primitives ...wonderful open houses ...wish I lived closer !!. best primitive antique store in southern california . I wish we had something like this in san diego !

make sure you go ...but dont buy anything I want when you do !!!!!! =)

A definite must for antique lovers. I have an aquaintence that told me to visit Down Home Antiques in Orange, CA if I ever got out to Southern California. She was absolutely right. We were there at one of the open houses and it was the best. The owners were friendly and there were true country antiques. Without a doubt the best store we've been in for a long time.
