Finally, something affordable. The shrimps were my favorite. And the sauce was just perfect. The crab was a bit small, and the wait was way too long. After waiting an hour, my friend decided on take-out the second time around. Take-outs were not as fresh. Otherwise the food was good.

Great seafood at reasonable prices.... Great seafood. Long wait but really worth it. Reasonable prices. Great restaurant if your looking for a beach style setting. Excellent restaurant with good service. Eat there with all your friends and family. Alhambra location is great.

Great casual seafood eatery to go with your buddies. This place is a great casual seafood restaurant to go with your seafood loving friends. Wait was extremely long though, so you'll be better off coming early for dinner.

Don't wear anything fancy because it gets really messy when eating, even with the bib (you're given a mallet to break any shells). The atmosphere is a casual, almost baja type feel.

Ordering is done by the pound (or fraction). We ordered raw oysters (delicious), shrimp (all shell on with their heads attached so if you hate eating shell you'll be really annoyed), crab (i don't remember what kind but it came whole), king crab legs (those were pre-cut so no need for the mallets), fried catfish (first time eating this but tasted good overall for what I expected from fried fish), and sweet potato fries (also good). The seasoning on the shellfish ranges from mild to spicy and has an Asian/Baja type spicy flare to it.

Since the atmosphere is casual, don't expect stellar service but getting simple things like drink refills turned out to be frustrating and I ended up needing to go up to the register to get the check.

Definitely not a place to take someone to impress but it's good seafood at a reasonable price.

I rarely give 5 stars. I rarely give 5 stars, but I think this place deserves it! I went to the boiling crab in Alhambra their 4th location in L.A. The food was good, the sauces especially the cajun were fantastic! The service was awesome and best of all they have a beer license. I used to have to drive ot to the beaches to get this good of a seafood, but now I no longer have to. Two thumbs up!!
