Oh my Gosh these guys saved my Camera!!! I thought it was toast~ it was brought back to life! My dad who passed away gave me my camera so it definitely holds sentimental feelings. The zoom lens needed to be repaired because it was stuck and the screen in the back was cracked. Ahh, zoom fixed and replaced screen in the back. Thank you Advance Camera~especially Harold the owner.
Cam broken, fix needed!.
I just learned you are the ones authorized to repair Fuji cams. I have a FinePix Z20FD with a broken LCD screen that I'd wish to get fixed.
I live in Mexicali (Baja California, Mexico), right across the border (have a PO box in Calexico and can travel up there), the Repair Location here is in Mexico City, considering the distance I think you're a better option.
What I need is you to tell me if you can fix it, how much that's gonna cost and if I can mail it to you or have to drop it personally.
Perhaps you have mistaken us with a different camera repair store? We are not an authorized Fuji repair facility. However, we can replace the LCD screen. The cost to take the camera apart, clean and replace the screen runs $40 in labor, plus the cost of the part which is $44, making the total $84, which does not include shipping back to you.
In response to the Nurse..
I would like a chance to respond to the nurse who wanted her equipement immediately and could not even wait one day to have her camera fixed:
You came in and did explain you were in a hurry, we decided that you would keep your camera while we ordered your parts. You paid immediately for your part and we placed the order that same day. Your part came in and we called you to let you know that it had arrived.
As we discussed on the phone, you wanted to bring your camera in and wait for the repair. We told you we could not do that, you would have to leave it and would require a few days as our work load currently had many rushes from customers that did leave their cameras here for their repairs.
You never left your camera and we tried negotiating the time with you and even told you we would have it ready for you the next day...YOU WERE NOT HAPPY WITH THIS OPTION and stormed out with your part saying, "you could not wait for anything and that we should accomodate you because you were a nurse and could not be without your camera. Why didn't we understand and that we were rude because we could not repair your camera while you waited."
When you came in, we tried to accommodate you as best as was possible that day, we tried discussing with you explaining what had to be accomplished and you did not want to hear anything else we had to say. So...if you ask me I certainly don't think we were rude and I certainly feel like we tried our best to help you achieve what you wanted.
Left Camera Shop Upset and Disappointed with Customer Service. My camera was not ready when promised. The technician demonstrated poor listening and communication skills. I brought my camera to the shop twice. I was upset and disappointed when I left the second time with my broken camera. In the end, someone else fixed my camera.
Best Service most informative. I had a great experience working with this company. I had a fuji camera that had to go to fuji for the warranty service. They informed me up front about the time frame it would be. Which wound up being quite accurate. They called me when they received the camera back and it was ready when i got there. They helped me out with my other camera a Canon digital. I dropped it off when i picked up my other camera, this repair went a whole lot quicker as i got the Canon back with in 1 week because they were able to fix on site, the fuji took about 7 weeks as it had to go to NJ-Fuji. I can't say enough great things about them, they were informative, friendly, Very Knowledgeable and quite personable. I would highly recommend them to you or anyone!
No customer service issue, Camera Repair Service. I had no problem with customer service issue. The customer service I received was excellent. They went out of their way to service my old camera. I was so happy with my Canon AE-1 repair that I brought in my digital that had a broken LCD. While I did have to wait until the part came in, they called me as soon as it was completed.
Rude service. Rude service. Jessica gave the worst customer service ever!!! If that's how they treat their customers, there is no way I'm trusting them with my camera!
