always great photos/year books. What? I don't know where these negative reviews are coming from. I am a parent volunteer and work on picture days. The staff they send out ,are there to take great pictures and they are so loving towards the kids. They especially take their time with the younger ones as they are difficult to photograph. My kids wear glasses and I am sure to write in the "SPECIAL INSTRUCTION BOX" remove glasses please. Never have I had a bad photo from this company. I have purchased class group photos as well as individual packages and 5th grade pano ramic photos as well as year books from this company! Our school used Life touch and over paid for too many years, glad to be rid of them. Life touch brags about having different backgrounds...so what! Would you like their name on the bottom of the wallets for an extra $12? Umm no thanks, I know my kids name and now I can afford a fast food treat for my boys. Their black and white year books cost a small fortune and the work is done out of state which means if there is a typo or other mistake...or page bleeds and streaks! the entire order had to be shipped back and resent to us, one year after school was done in june!! What?! Parents had to come to school during summer break to get their books. What are the previous reviews talking about? This is not a professional modeling agency folks! Cantrell rocks it every year, and the kids are always excited about picture day and Jean is the best, our school requests her for every session. This company even tracked down my middle school son's negatives and reprinted them for me since I goofed up and did not order enough to begin with! That's customer service for you. Give them a break, and take the time to volunteer at your school on picture day, you'll be amazed at the effort and energy it takes to pull this event off, and it's all done by Cantrell with a smile on their face. Hats off to cantrell

NOT impressed!. I got my daughter's school pictures today & I must say, I am Not impressed at all! She says they twisted & tilted her head & glasses that way. Which has her head cockeyed at an angle, but her glassed are straight!! Then it says on the re-takes there's a $5.00 fee... On TOP of the $ I've Already Paid!!! This is ridiculous!

School photos. I dread school photos every year for my son with glasses. Every year we have to get them re-done because either the glare from his glasses is really bad, or they have adjusted his glasses so far down they blocked his eyes. I have yet to see this years photos, so will have to wait and see. Upon reading the other reviews, I am not surprised at the issues.

Life Touch is better. My daughter attended Preschool for 2 weeks at the school where her picture was taken by Cantrell Photography before we had to switch her to another preschool. I had stayed to help and was not very impressed by the way the children where being rushed though this process like cattle. 1 week after the picture I called to ask them to cancel my order because my daughter was no longer going to be attending that preschool. After looking up my order, they told me that I needed to wait for the package and then send it back for a no problem refund. So as soon I we got the package we mailed it back. Only to get a phone call back to insult me by saying that we could have copied the picture before sending it back and that they could not give us a full refund. We ask to speak to someone else and she said she would speak with the owner. She called us back a couple days later strangely at a very late hour when we were trying to put the kids to sleep. She was very unprofessional as could here her arguing with my husband who in a very calm matter said that he did not agree with the way this was handled and would voice his opinion on-line.

Life Touch has been in business for over 70 years. All my past experiences with them have been great. They just took my daughters picture at her new school and because I helped gave me a discount on my package. They were very professional, personable and knew how to work with small children. My advice is stick with the best. There's a reason why some companies are big and some are small. Why some companies can stand behind there product and some can't.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. ***** Please Read this before you consider using this company****

I called this company before I even got my pictures and asked if I could get a refund for my pictures because my daughter was switching schools. The customer service agent told me that the pictures had already been sent out and that as soon as we received the pictures to mail them back to the company for a full refund. We sent the pictures back to them as soon as we recevied them. We got a call from the accounting department and they told us they would not give us a refund for the items we purchased and did not want. This company is very inconsistent with there policys. They also accused me of making copies of the pictures and sending them back to them which I did not. I felt like they called me a liar and took my money. IF THIS COMPANY IS CONTRACTED WITH YOUR SCHOOL DONT USE THEM!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Great school Pictures!. My daughter's school pictures always come out so nice! And the personnel are very friendly, even when I call them every year to try and track down my lost re-orders.
