Shopping for an Engagement Ring. Robbins Brothers is a great place to visit and get ring ideas. They have a huge selection of rings. They also have a lot of name branded rings that many stores do not have: Tacori, Michael B. Ritanni, etc.

However, after doing a lot of extensive research online, I think you can get a better deal on loose diamonds (especially high quality diamonds) elsewhere. I would definitely look at Blue Nile online, and in the Los Angeles Jewelry District if you have the time.

If you go the Jewelry District, it's probably best to make an appointment as they sometimes make you come back if they don't have it in stock. Some great finds I would definitely recommend checking out is Inta Gems, Facets Jewelry, and Oscars Designs.

We ended up buying a loose diamond in Downtown LA at Inta Gems and buying our Tacori Ring at Robbins Brothers.

Overall, you should give Robbins Brothers a visit.

excellent customer service and product. I found Robbins Bros to a place full of friendly individuals who care about their customers and have really impressive diamond knowledge. The store is absolutely beautiful and all of their diamonds there are gorgeous. I heard that the sales associates even help plan proposals and walk you through the whole process--everything from choosing a ring and a custom diamond to fit, all the way up until the moment you propose--I would recommend this place to anyone!
