All the hippie notions people have about Birkenstocks are dissipating like patchouli incense in a stiff breeze. Comfy shoes have come into their own, and this shop carries over 24 different European lines, each tailored with more than one foot measurement to guarantee an almost custom made fit.

The Goods
Birkenstock is the key player at this store, and its varied line includes the traditional sandal, but also loafers, sneakers, dress and professional shoes (think chef and doctor footwear). Kids shoes are a definite draw with two removable footbeds-original size and one size larger for those growing tootsies. Uggs, Springstop, Dansko, Stonefly and more are also featured (most in muted browns, blues and blacks), and there's a nice selection of funky socks and handbags.
