Repeat customer = Very Happy!.
I am reviewing Flower Allie as a repeat customer. In 2006, I used Allison for my wedding. I was referred to her from a girlfriend of mine that used her for her own wedding. When I first talked to her on the phone, I knew she was going to be amazing. Setting up the appointment to discuss the wedding was easy and professional. From the moment that we began discussing the wedding, I felt like I was in great hands. She wanted to know what my vision was and how I thought her flowers could enhance our beautiful moment. It felt like a true partnership where we developed a theme together. What was really cool is that she encouraged my then, husband to be, to attend the meeting. I thought that was a nice touch. At the close of the meeting, she assured me that everything would be beautiful and there was nothing from this point on that I would have to worry about.
And, that is exactly the way it went. The day finally came for our special moment and when we arrived, it was like a setting out of a fairy tale. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. Even the wedding planner at La Venta Inn (Palos Verdes), where we were being married, was impressed. It was like each flower was individually picked for our wedding and each one had a reason for being in the place it was. Amazing indeed.
I decided to use Flower Allie a few other times between then and now on smaller events I was hosting. Because these were smaller orders, I didn’t expect the exceptional detail and customer service she gave me the first time around. However, she continued to surprise me and out-do herself! Even though my orders were a fraction of what they were for our wedding, she still gave me a great price and made sure I was taken care of the same way she did in 2006.
Years later, Flower Allie continues to provide the best service for flowers and I cannot thank her and her staff enough for the professional, exceptional service they provide. I have given several referrals her way and they all have gone out of their way to let me know their events were awesome. So, Flower Allie, thank you!
5 STAR customer service.
For about the last year I have looked at on line reviews for almost everything that I have purchased and yet have never reviewed a business before. What prompted me to do so today was actually a request from Allie the owner of Flower Allie.
Today is my Anniversary and every year for the last 3 years I have sent my wife a dozen purple roses. I have never had a problem finding them in the past but this year I called over 10 florists yesterday and they were not to be had. Of course as usual I looked at the reviews before calling the florists and upon seeing a bad review skipped right over Flower Alley. After not finding them anywhere else I decided to give them a call. I was hesitant but thought it was either this or nothing at this point. The phone was answered by Allie who was very pleasant and very friendly. She told me "no problem" to the purple roses,
and then "no problem" to a next day delivery and then "no problem" to by 10:00 am. She said they were busy but that it was close so she would "run it over myself". At this point I am thinking that this is nothing anywhere close to the poor customer service review that I read and decided to ask Allie about it. She then told me that she had dozens of great on line reviews and a few people who were not as happy as she would have wanted them to be but that the "mean and crazy" as she put it, reviews she thinks were written by a business competitor who is not doing well. She then said with a laugh that if I was happy maybe I could write a good review. Allie I hope you get a chance to read this. My wife received the flowers at 9:00am this morning and said they were delivered by a lady (Allie I am assuming) and were absolutely beautiful. I will highly recommend Flower Alley to everyone I know.

After visiting 4 florists with my daughter to order a corsage and boutonniere for Homecoming I was getting very discouraged until I found Flower Allie.
Allie is great and she has very creative ideas. When we arrived at the shop we asked the young sales girl for a book of corsages as we had at every other shop. The girl at the counter informed us that they don't use a book, they create the corsage based on individual color and style. She then took us into the huge refrigerator to show us all sorts of different flowers. We were still having a hard time when Allie stepped in and suggested that we add crystals. We were also shown racks with hundreds of ribbons to choose from. For under $25.00 my daughter walked out of Flower Allie with her dream dance flowers.
I will recommend Flower Allie to everyone I meet.
Great wedding flowers at a great price. Was just so happy with Allie and the staff at Flower Allie. The flowers for my wedding were unique and reasonably priced. Yes Allie is busy but I was always able to get a hold of her by phone. Was just so happy with this florist.
I loved my wedding flowers. I chose Flower Allie about a year ago after reading all the great reviews about them. I absolutely loved Allison. I will say that at times she is very busy and didn’t return emails very quickly but she always returned my calls with in a day. They seem like an extremely busy shop. My coordinator later told me that I was very lucky to have booked Allison a year out because everyone wants to use Flower Allie. Allison is really creative and she showed me a lot of different ideas when I couldn’t decide what I wanted. I went to visit 5 other florists and none of them had any flowers to show me. Flower Allie was always filled with lots of flowers and every time I went in they would show me what they were working on. By far Flower Allie was the best wedding vendor experience that I had. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and my guests are still talking about them
I heard great things about Flower Allie and I just HAD to go in and see for myself what the buzz was about!
I was planning my wedding (which was in November) and I went in around June to see if Flower Allie could be my wedding florist!
To start off my visit, I was rudely "greeted" by two middle-aged blonde women, who I found out later to be the OWNER, ALLIE! I thought, maybe it was just a bad day..? As I looked around the shop and into their "everyday" arrangements cooler, I was LESS than impressed, but I was assured that these arrangements "aren't good" & "nowhere near the quality of our wedding work" that should have beena sign. I made a consultation with the rude owner (again, just wondering if she had a bad day) and then left. Bad day?? Nope, when I had my consultation with her, she continued to act like I was stupid! I was EXTREMEMLY open to suggestions and her ideas were totally wanted, and she still acted like she was better than me and I was an idiot!! I am not an overly sensitive person at all, but I remember almost wanting to cry out of frusteration!
After the consultation, Allie left her office and I gathered up my things, then I heard her TRYING to whisper to the other blonde gal there about me! and snickering. I got out of there as soon as possible.
Needless to say, I was not going to let this rude bussiness owner have ANYTHING to do with me and my Husband's wedding.
When I called her 2 days later (to let her know I wouldn't be using her services) she acted like a total...b*tch! "Ok, my time is so valuable, and you wasted it! I wouldn't have sat through an hour consultation with you and your tacky flower ideas if I had known you were just wasting my time!" She SERIOUSLY said these things to me! After I WANTED to use her, and she was RUDE TO ME!!
I was flaberghasted and hung up.
I DO NOT reccomend this horrible bussiness owner to ANYONE!
CRAPPY ARRANGEMENTS!. A few weeks ago I had ordered a floral spray for a funeral and when I arrived at the service, I was utterly appalled at the arrangement! The flowers were wilted and the whole arrangement was poorly constructed and looked like it was falling apart. When I came home, I called the store immediately and demanded to speak with the owner but they were not there. I had called back 4 time since then and the owner still was not there. I left a message with one of the employees (who was rude by the way) and never received a call back. What a waste of $120!!! NEVER ORDER FROM FLOWER ALLIE!
Flower Allie saved me!. Flower Allie was the florist that did the flowers for my wedding. I had actually forgotten this and when I was in need of last minute flowers formy wifes Birthday the restaurant I would be dining at recommended them. I called at 6:30 on a Friday night and the phone was answered after they had closed by the owner Allison. When I gave her my name and she pulled it up on the computer she mentioned that she had done the flowers for our wedding. She also said that she had a good feeling based on the wedding notes of what my wife would like. Then she said she would be leaving at about 7:30 and would drop off the flowers at the restaurant on her way home. We were arriving at 7:30 so I fiqured that that would work. At about 8:00 the server brought the flowers to our table and presented them to my wife. My wife thought I planned the flowers for weeks because they were the same as our wedding day. Allison provided the best customer service I have ever received. Ever!
WORST customer service EVER!!!. I have to agree with Mogh. Their customer service was appalling at best!!! I had ordered flowers on the phone for my mother on Mother's Day, there was a confusion about the price so I call them to clarify the price of a bouquet. An employee named Sam proceeds to say,"Is that what you're arguing with me about?" and I try to explain to her that I wasn't trying to argue with her, and that I just wanted to clarify some confusions. She then hands the phone over to the so called supervisor, and she tells me that there's people waiting in line and they were busy and hangs up on me. I was so horrified, I called back and said," I would like to cancel the order I made with Sam," and the woman on the phone tells me," I'd be glad to do that for you, do you know why? Because you're a B****! Go F*** yourself!" and hangs up on me. I call back again to ask for the supervisor's name and the woman says, " What difference does it make? You just made the biggest mistake of your life, you gave me all your credit card information. Good luck trying to get the charges off B***!" I ask her, " Are you threatening me?" and she says, "Yeah!" and hangs up again. I seriously thought i was dreaming!! I have never in my life had this kind of customer service. It's no way to run a business, and I don't think they should even be in business.
Horrible Customer Service. I decided to place an order from Flower Allie on Valentine's Day based on the good reviews so far. The person who took my order was friendly enough. However, that's where the good experience ends. I asked for the flowers to be delivered by 5:00 PM. But on Valentine's day at 5:30 PM, the flowers had not yet been delivered. Neither I nor the recipient of the flowers received a phone call regarding the whereabouts of my order. When I called them, the customer service was appalling at best. I was told to check back tomorrow for an order of flowers that I placed for Valentine's Day! Luckily, my significant other was understanding enough. But the next day, I called them again and I was being given the run-around. First, they told me to call FTD since they put the order into FTD's system. When I called FTD, they mentioned that there was nothing they could do since it was Flower Allie's order. So I called Flower Allie back, and they in turn shifted the blame to Kabloom florists, to whom the order was delivered. In the meantime, they told me that there was nothing they can do until the following Monday which is when their FTD rep was bound to return. In the meantime, my flowers had not yet been delivered. Needless to say, I will never order flowers from these guys again. The customer service was simply appalling.
