A Bite of Heaven
by drbobmorey at Citysearch
One bite and I closed my eyes and concentrated on extracting all the flavors of a rich full-bodied veal stock with a mountain of Porcini mushrooms on veal medallions that were cooked ever so slightly. I have eaten my way through 32 countries and always eat at 5 star and 4 star restaurants that have the reputation of excellence. Who would imagine that tucked away in the back of shopping mall in Anaheim Hills would I have one of the greatest meals in my life. The bread was fresh from the oven and, as I always do, I put it to my nose to see if I smelled yeast. Only freshly baked bread made from scratch have that yeasty smell. The frozen bread that is served today is an abomination to God and man. But Foscari bakes its own bread and I had to resist filling up on it. The dessert was worthy to be served to the Pope. My family and I will be back many times to the greatest secret in Orange County.

Our favorite Anaheim Hills Restaurant
by dnkfyl at Citysearch
We have been going to Foscari since they opened over 15 years ago. We travel to Italy several times a year for business and all i have to do is describe one of my cravings to Maria and she gets the flavors spot on! My favorite dish is the Zuppa di Pesce. Light tomato broth steaming hot loaded with fresh fish, shrimp mussels and clams. My wife loves the fish specials that are always so creative. Last night she had Halibut and it had this absolutely delicious Galiano sauce. Don't fill up on the bread...its so hard not too. They make their own focaccia and bake it hourly. Their tiramisu rivals the ones from Italy. Another of Maria's secret recipes. We have been long time fans and will continue to be.
- Pros: Creative menu
Warm, kind people, great food

Had a wonderful experience at Foscari Italian! Maria was extremely kind to my teen-age daughter who had just had dental work. She made a custom soup to soothe her sore mouth and it was delicious. My lunch was fabulous with large portions. We would highly recommend them for both their food and personal service. This is the only review I've written and I couldn't let the bad review go unanswered.

Amazing Catering
by oc91508 at Citysearch
We had Maria Foscari and her staff cater our wedding this year. Thank You Thank You Thank You!
Our Guests were greeted with tray passed Passion Fruit Martinis, Jack and Coke, Kir Royale's and Sparkling Water. Then they passed the most incredible appetizers... wonton crisps with ginger soy filet mignon, bruschetta, foccacia crisps with goat cheese, roasted peppers and grilled shrimp. Our buffet was just gorgeous... so much food we truly received what we ordered. I would highly recommend Foscari Events and Catering for your next party. Whether its a wedding , house warming or even a small gathering with friends they are awesome.
- Pros: Fabulous Food, Excellent Service, Full Catering Liquor License, Wedding Coordination Service
