A Well-Planned Venue.
I drove 60+ miles to see a concert here last year and was pleasantly surprised at how well it was planned and built. Parking is a breeze and it's a very nice facility inside. It doesn't hurt that it's not that old but it's a great venue nonetheless.
Dinner at JT Schmidt's across the street makes the whole thing a perfect way to spent an evening.
Home to the Ducks, college hoops, pro wrestling, concert tours and much more.. In Short Home to the Disney-owned Mighty Ducks NHL team and built at a cost of $123 million in 1993, the 650,000-square-foot Pond rubs shoulders with Edison Field, home diamond of the Anaheim Angels, also owned by the Mouse. But while the old Angels Field has undergone a multimillion-dollar refurbishment, the Pond was constructed to be Southern California's premier entertainment and sports venue.
