El Farolito Jr. lights the way to authentic Mexican food in.
#51 Nachos Supremos served with your choice of carne asada, carnitas, or chicken and topped with guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and cheese. They should rename it to “Gigante” because it’s huge! The tortilla chips are thick and sturdy to scoop up everything with a great toasted corn flavor. They are very generous on the carne asada. One of the best supreme nachos ever! Thumbs up, way up!
#25 Chile con Carne Plate is tender pieces of tasty pork in their own custom sauce. The pork was so tender that it just fell apart with a touch of the fork. The sauce is full of explosive flavor. The rice is the best in town. They’ve spent a lot time on the rice where most restaurants don't. Thumbs up!
#67 Chile Rellenos Plate is served with rice and beans, and choice of flour or corn tortillas. The chile rellenos looked great with sauce slathered on top. But the taste was just okay - not the best and not the worst. The refried beans, however, were awesome - great flavor with melted cheese on top.
Al Pastor Tacos are served up like typical street tacos with the double mini corn tortillas. They also have a self-serve salsa bar with a variety of different sauces, pico de gallo, onions, cilantro, and lime. The Al Pastor is roasted fresh right by the front door. The scent is so wonderful, you can’t help but get some. The meat is super-flavorful and juicy. The meat serving is very generous too. Thumbs up, way up!
Carne Asada Tacos are bueno. The meat is juicy and the serving is generous. Thumbs up!
Lengua Tacos are muy bueno. The meat is so flavorful, juicy, tender, and the portion is generous! This is my favorite! Thumbs up, way up!
Cabeza Tacos are bueno. The meat is tender, juicy, flavorful, and has a little collagen stickiness which is good for your skin. Thumbs up!
