Best Breakfast Place in OC. They specialize in breakfast and they are great at it. I absolutely love this place. It is like a lil cozy house in Anaheim with delicious food. The service is great. Mary the waitress is a lil clumpsy but i still love her service. My friend introduce me to this place and i recommend this place to every that i know. I don't like the one in Yorba Linda the food is still great but i just like the atmosphere in the one in Anaheim.

Bacon Pancakes. The Bacon pancakes were delicious! I would definitely return for more!

Not That Special. We tried it based on internet recommendations. Long wait - but that was expected. The food was unremarkable - no better than at IHOP. Coffee was good. Never got my order of bacon - even after repeated requests. The bill? $29 for our two breakfasts. Won't be back.

Made-to-order breakfasts---including over a dozen unique flapjacks---stack the odds in this restaurant's favor.. In Short
Founded in Oregon circa 1953, this simply-furnished spot owes its success to its creative menu and fresh ingredients. Batters are made on the premises; a special "sourdough starter" keeps treats from tasting overly sweet. Patrons choose from eggs, waffles, crepes and oven-baked omelets, as well as signature plates like blueberry pancakes (served with or without compote), giant cinnamon-glazed apple pancakes, thin and chewy "49-ers" and the air-filled, lemon-and-sugar-topped "Dutch Baby."

Overrated. My friends all raved about how good this place was. I went to try it out and I didn't like it right away. I had to wait about 2 hours to get seated. 2 hours!!! I ordered the apple pancake and my friend ordered a crepe of some sort. She wasn't too pleased with it as it was pretty bland. My apple pancake came out exremely hot so I had to wait about another 20-30 minutes for it to cool down. Thanks to the 2 hour wait, I was very hungry so I bit into a still relatively hot pancake and was highly disapointed. Nothing special. Pretty big pancake but it didn't taste good at all. Maybe the burning I had in my mouth had something to do with it.

Good pancakes. After reading the reviews and looking at the website, I had the Apple Pancake and the Dutch Baby, while my friend had the Belgian waffle with strawberries. I would say the pancakes are their specialty. The apply pancake was very delicious at the first bite, but after a while, it became too sweet for my taste. There was so much cinnamon and the pancake itself was a little soggy, probably from the apples. The Dutch Baby and the Belgian waffle were also good. We went on a Sunday morning around 11am and it was very packed. Overall, I would recommend eating at this place at least once.

One of my favorites. My favorite pancake at this cute pancake house is the large German cake. It is quite filling and absolutely delicious! It comes with lemons and powered sugar. I add butter for a not-on-my-diet treat! The service is good too. They are closed on Mondays and very crowded on weekends. I sneak over on weekdays aboiut noon and have no wait to eat breakfast. The 49er pancakes are not-to-be-missed also. My only regret is I am not able to indulge my Diet cola habit. Instead the iced tea or hot chocolate are good alternatives. Since I wrote this in 2006, there has been changes. The pancake restraurant now serves Diet Coke's & they are now open on Mondays. It's a family owned restraurant, but a new generation has taken over. The new changes make it an even better place to eat!!

Fantastic Breakfast. The apple pancake that is served here is one of the most awsome breakfasts you will ever have. This dish takes them about 15 minutes to prepare, but is more than worth waiting for. Most of the items that they have look good, but because the apple pancake is so good, I have not been able to break my habit and try something else.
