Stole my Credit Card number and then attacked me!!!. Bob bell came out to quote a tankless water heater for my house. First he made a pass me which I thought was totally inappropriate and then he stole my credit card number and charged $2,000.00 without authorization. Then when I questioned him about it he became very hostile with me. He even grabbed my arm and shook me. As a woman I felt very threatened I thought he was going to assault me so I called the police to get him out of my house.



Please if you’re female don’t use this company. He has even had fake reviews posted on the internet about his company posing as a female in order to try and attract more female customers. The guy is a stalker and a sociopath, just read the other reviews from other real people on the internet.

Update 02-01-2013 Bob Bell of Newport Tankless located in Costa Mesa has continued to harass me at my work and on the internet. Please, please watch out for this person he is seriously dangerous. I am getting ready to get a restraining order against him.

My plumber told me to call Newport Tankless. Bob came out and replaced heat exchanger and worked with Takagi to get the part under warranty. Repaired the tankless the very same day.

I am the owner of this company. There have been some bad comments about me from one unhappy customer. He has accused me of stealing his credit card and making defamatory comments. after he wrote me a check one month later he gave me his credit card. he disputed the charge saying he had no idea who I was. I showed the credit card company the check he wrote me and the card was not reversed. He has been stalking me for the past two years, I will be be taking legal actiuon againist him in the future if they are not removed,

All I can say about newport tankless is great. Bob came out and fixed our tankless the same day we called him and he got the parts under warranty at no charge.

Thumbs up all around for Newport Tankless!. I am a homeowner and because I am also a woman, I often get taken atvantage of by hired labor on my 23 year old home. When my hot water heater gave out, I called around and Newport Tankless was the first company that I talked to that was able to come to my house that day and give me an estimate. I shopped around a bit more over the next few days to make sure that he was not quoting me outrageously (even had another company come to my house and give me an estimate), and finally decided to go with Bob Bell at Newport Tankless. Made an appointment for the following day at noon, and even though I was at work, he installed the new heater and left no trash behind or nothing damaged (as most construction workers, painters, plumbers, and other hired help usually do!)

I am very greatful that there are still good companies out there and I 100% give my recommendations

Owner of this company has stalked me for years!!!!. Run from this company as fast as you can!!!!!! Bob Bell is a stalker. He has stalked me on my cell phone, my home and at work.He stole my credit card and charged $2,000.00 to it. I disputed the charges and my credit card company reversed the charges.

Then started stalking me and leaving profane voicemails and text on my cell phone, sending my threatening emails, he vandalized my home, then started to harass me at work and posting false reviews about my work in an attempt to get me fired. I had to get the police involved to get him to stop. The owner of Newport Tankless is seriously disturbed……total wacko!!!!!

If you do business with Bob Bell and/or Newport Tankless watch out!!!

04-17-2012 Update. I have uploaded some new photos that will show you the work you can expect from Newport Tankless. The first will shows that I have to rip out the new tile I just have installed in 3 of my bathrooms to fix the work Bob did wrong (this is only one of the bathrooms). The second picture shows how poorly Bob installs Tankless water heaters. I have dozens of pictures and videos that I will be posting on my website, so please check back here soon for the address.
