Tips for Super 8 Anaheim Disneyland Drive Anaheim Hotels

I enjoyed everything about Disneyland / Anaheim... ...Except this hotel. First of all, the refrigerator was off when we entered our room. Therefore all the food we bought had to go to waste because it stayed warm all night. There were college kids hanging off the 3rd level balcony drinking beer and carrying on.. Also people sitting out in the hallways smoking cigarettes, and drinking as well. Not an environment I would want my child to be in during his or her trip to Disneyland.

To find the ice machine, I had to walk all the way to the reception office. Which was down about 4 flights of stairs and across the parking lot. There was no soap or shampoo in the room. There were ants crawling behind the toilet, and the couple in the room next to us were so noisy we barely slept a wink.

The free breakfast consisted of a stale bagel and coffee. Thankfully I only stayed one night.

In defense, I will say that maybe we had a bad room. It was also a Saturday night during the summer, which might explain some of the other things. The ants and people partying in the hallways is inexcusable. The one pro is that it is in relative walking distance to the theme park. If you can afford it though, I would suggest just staying at one of the resorts in the park.

Even booking through Priceline, and getting this room dirt cheap. It still wasn't worth the hassle, and the inconveniences. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Free coffee refills and budget rates make this motel tops with highway travelers.. In Short
The first Super 8 opened in Aberdeen, S.D., in 1974, charging $8.88 a night. Today, the national franchise, with its familiar red-and-yellow sign, still stands for dependable rooms at wallet-friendly prices. A staple for road-tripping families, truck drivers and tour groups, the motel offers complimentary morning coffee and continental breakfasts. Another perk for travelers: Super 8 travel cups may be refilled for free at any of the motel's locations.
