Anaheim >Mimosa Nursery
MIMOSA NURSERY. I went to Mimosa to buy a few king palms, but they been telling me to come back because they can not sale it. There was not explanation why they can not sale it except that the inspector, so I been told to go back in a few weeks, after a few weeks was given same info. They carry a few good palms, the only thing is the service, service is not too friendly. Its a good place if you have patience and time.
Depends on who's working there that day.
I've been to Mimosa several times and have bought many different fruit trees, roses there since it was the closest nursery to me that sells tropical fruits.
You need to load up on cash before you go,because that's all they accept. No exchange, no returns, no guarantee if anything will live or bear fruit.
Usually I don't expect much from the workers there. But today I asked the man about a tree that I had bought for my parents that wasn't not bearing fruit. He first wanted to ask questions like, how often do I fertilize, water. I told him several times I'm not sure since it wasn't my tree and asked if he could just tell me what's the right way so I can tell my parents. He was very condescending and rudely tells me that I don't know anything and that I don't take care of the tree and just wanted to ask questions. Huh? So I patiently asked if he would please just tell me how often to fertilize and water. You'd think you're asking him to share a secret.
So I thought maybe I just got him on a bad day, and was willing to let it go until an older Asian lady came up,and he was really nice to her. That's what made me angry.... discrimination perhaps (since the man was asian)???
I will rather driver farther to buy plants that I can't get from Armstrongs,Lowes,or Home Depot.
