promises turning to lies.
I dropped off my 745 with minor accident valued at $4400 with them early november.
They calculated the completion as $150 a day, total 27 working days.
This is already absurd.
Early december they promised to finish on 17th january.
This is almost double of their original estimate.
On 16th january I called to pick up my car.
They said the same thing they told me 6 weeks before: The car is on a factory jig.
This is the worst shop I ever seen.
Go somewhere else.
Sterling - Very poor customer service.
After a relatively minor accident, we took our car to Sterling for repair. The initial estimate was that it would be about 3 weeks for repair. They promised to keep us informed on the progress. They never called us - we always had to call them. They kept giving us a date about a week out and then the next time we would call they would slip the date again.
I would not recommend them for any repair unless you were not in a hurry for the repair. I am sure there are better repair facilities available.
Excellent customer service. My wife's BMW was involved in an accident about 2 months ago. I was referred to Sterling BMW Collision by my insurance company. This was our first accident so we were not familiar with the claim processing. Our advisor (john) was very professional and helpful in dealing with our insurance company. They did a great job in repairing our 530 I and it was done a few days earlier than promised. BTW, my brother in law couldn't tell what part of the car was fixed after he saw the car. Thanks a gain guys, great job.
