Coconut Shrimp (new menu item) is six coconut-breaded shrimp served with sweet pepper dipping sauce. This dish is all about the shrimp. The coconut and very little breading coated the outside and were fried to a perfect golden brown. The coconut flavor expertly complemented the shrimp by adding a slight sweetness. Texture was crispy on the outside with succulent, juicy shrimp on the inside. The dipping sauce was sweet but not too sweet with fresh, sweet bell pepper flavor. The presentation, however, needs a little work – either use a smaller plate or increase the serving to 8 shrimp to fill the plate better. Thumbs up!

Sweet Bourbon Salmon® is a tender, mesquite-grilled salmon fillet in Sweet Bourbon marinade and includes your choice of one side. The salmon had wonderful mesquite grill marks on the outside with a tender, succulent interior. The bourbon flavor came through and the marinade tasted slightly of Asian influence, like teriyaki and ginger. It worked really well with the salmon. Maybe a secondary sauce choice for the baby back ribs? Just an idea. The spinach was steamed to a bright green color and flavor. Thumbs up!

Never had a bad meal. We go here about once a month and have never had a bad meal. The steak is great. You also get a salad and veggie with your entree. Everything is always very fresh. Their blooing onion is very good. This is much better than Outback Steakhouse and in the same price range. If you are looking for a low-priced steak meal, this is the place to go.

A TASTE OF TEXAS DONE RIGHT!. WE STARTED GOING HERE FOR THE GREAT LUNCH SPECIALS.MY FAVORITE IS EITHER THE STEAK OR CHICKEN LUNCH.WE WONDERED IF THE LUNCH WAS SO GOOD HOW GOOD WOULD DINNER BE?WELL IT IS GREAT.FIRST TIME I HAD A JUICY RIBEYE.SOMETIMES WE JUST SIT IN THE BAR AND HAVE A COUPLE OF BIG BEERS AND BIG BURGERS WHILE WATCHING A GAME ON ONE OF THE TVS.TRY THE TEXAS ROSE(THINK AWESOME BLOSSOM),THEN MAYBE A CUP OF CHILI OR A WEDGE SALAD.THE YEAST ROLLS ARE LIKE EATING CRISPY CREAMS.THEN ITS ON TO A STEAK OR RIBS,CHICKEN OR EVEN FISH.EVERYTHING WE HAVE HAD HAS BEEN GOOD.GOOD PLACE FOR ALL SIZE GROUPS.WE JUST DID A BIG BIRTHDAY PARTY LAST WEEK.THEY ALSO HAVE A KIDS EAT FREE NIGHT.AT NIGHT THE STAFF DO LINE DANCING IN THE ISLES.WHAT A FUN PLACE.

Totally Awesome. This place is great for steak. A fun Texas theme. The steaks are very good, too.
