Old Film Converted!.
I had boxes of old 8mm and 16mm film from my dad's house that we all needed to do something with. After some looking online, we found DVD Your Memories right in Irvine and they were able to schedule an appointment for us the following day.
The office was pretty easy to find once I got into the area and the technician helped me right away. I was told about the transfer process and opted to go with the premium treatment which also gives your film a restored look.
We were very happy with the final product, we also had them load the footage onto an external hard drive that my son is now experimenting with, making short movies.

Experience with slide scanning. DVD Your Memories did an amazing job with converting all of my old 35mm slides and negatives. I left them with quite a large box to deal with. I got a call the day before it was due letting me know it was finished, and in a very organized fashion...and of course the quality of the scans were perfect. Everyone who works in the office is friendly and helpful. I recommend them if you need to convert old media.

wedding preparations.
My wife had a slideshow movie created by these guys for our wedding a couple weeks ago. The DVD turned out to be a great hit and we even ended up ordering more copies after the fact.
They are really good at knowing what works great in presentations like these. They also convert old movies and photos to digital formats that you can load onto your computers.
