Best and Worst.. all in one place !. Islands... sounded good..

First... the location is easy to find.. that's about all of the good.

Second.. the food is .. bland .. sorta ... the Denny's of the South Pacific Food ...

Just another fast food chain.. .. with .. ten buck taco's !

Just another fast food chain.... with... 'ken-i-getch-anythen' .. type of waitressing... NO IMAGINATION..

And. check this.. 12.00 for dip and chips... whazup with that?.. and the 'fruit tea'.. yea right..

As for this guy.. GO ELSEWHERE.. it's not impressive.. and is.. overpriced..

But.. the good news is... if you didn't like this one.. there's another one just a mile down the road..

If Gilligan opened a burger joint, this would be it.. The Scene
With thatched umbrellas, photos of crashing waves, stuffed toucans and a soundtrack of twangy '60s surf-rock, it doesn't take a genius to figure out this chain's theme. Yep, it's beach, burgers and plenty of kitsch. The jovial atmosphere and service (not to mention a full-service bar) lures lunching business folk, beer-drinking college students and families with food-throwing toddlers.

The Food
Like the decor, the menu is a no-brainer--sandwiches, salads, fries and burgers. Served in a basket with fork and knife, thick beef patties come grilled to order with lettuce, tomato and any variety of extras. For a lighter bite, try one of the soft tacos. Filled with either fish or chicken, the wraps are inauthentic, but tasty. Yaki tacos are stuffed with teriyaki chicken, chives, pineapple and jack cheese. Whatever you order, don't forget the fries. These hand-cut, super-crispy sticks are addicting, especially when dipped in creamy ranch dressing.

Good Food. This particular Islands is much better as far as customer service than the one in Huntington Beach. The staff is much friendlier and helpful.

Tropical Delight. Fun, casual, AWESOME food, inexpensive & great service. Everything on the menu is really good!
