Please don't go there!. Don't do it! Don't go there ever! Please listen and don't make the same mistake I did! Jacques Doumani is certifiably crazy! Look up "delusions of grandeur." I asked for a trim because I've been growing my hair our from a pixie cut for over a year. What he gave me was a blunt cut completely shorter than I wanted and HALF a set of b@ngs, which I didn't want in the first place. Meaning he cut half the b@ng hair short and half of it long. I didn't realize he was doing b@ngs because he comes at you with the scissors like a maniac. He made me look like I was straight out if the '80s with poofy hair and big half bangs. I have now scheduled an appointment to see my regular hair stylist this evening.

I was in tears and distraught. Also, he is completely stuck up and said to me, "I love my fans. It feels so great to be wanted." Well, guess what? He is horrible and his salon is out dated and dirty. Never again!!!!!

Don't let Jacque give you a "makeover!". Went to this salon based on Jacque's supposed history as a top stylist (from the 80's if that - name dropping Blondie and Stevie Nicks. Doesn't he know Blondie is not a person?). After I sat in the salon chair, I waited for an hour while he worked on three other people before he even touched my hair. I wasn't in a huge rush, his staff was friendly and clientele was fun so I wasn't too bothered.

Jacque begged to give me what he was calling a makeover. I think his plan of "guessing" your age and being WAY off is his psychological way of making you feel like cr@p so you will agree to let him do what he wants. He said he would make me look like I was in my 30s again. I'm 28 a$$hole and am lucky enough to have good genes that I look younger than my age regardless of what he thinks he can do.

Feeling a little vulnerable I stupidly caved. I gave him my parameters that I wanted to keep my mid-back length still long and didn't want my hair dark, he assured me no problem. I reiterated that I DID NOT want my hair dark as I had dark hair before and hated it. He again assured me it would not be dark. He said he wanted to do a dark strawberry blond color and would only cut off an inch or two and that I would look FABULOUS. (ugh, I cringe at that memory of all this).

Let's just say after everything is said and done my hair is shoulder length and Peg Bundy auburn. The cut has no form and has weird long pieces here and there. So, basically Jacque will tell you that you look like $&*% and tell you he will do one thing and do the complete opposite.

I was excited by the idea of just letting someone do what they want since I have NEVER let anyone do that. Thanks to Jacque I will never EVER do that again.
