I had an infection from an ingrown toenail. It was very painful. A procedure called a partial avulsion was required to correct the problem. I was also very nervous about it. Dr. Radovic explained everything that was going to happen. He has a very calming. He explained what I could do to help avoid this type of problem in the future. Before I knew it, the procedure was over. I experienced no discomfort during the procedure and very little afterward.
I experienced a tremendous amount of pain on the bottom of my heel which worsened while standing. X-rays showed that I had plantar fasciitis. Dr. Radovic recommended a non-surgical approach. I tried a treatment which included padding and strapping to provide support when walking and reduce the amount of pressure placed on my heel.
My diabetic grandfather suffered from poor circulation in his right foot. Since poor circulation slows down the body’s ability to heal wounds, the small cut on his foot turned into an infection. Dr. Radovic immediately treated his infection, which ended up saving his right limb and his life.
I have hammertoes and was seeking a surgeon that would correct my hammertoes. Dr. Radovic recommended that I have a combination of 2 common procedures done. Soft tissue release including capsulotomy and tenotomy as well as joint fusions were done to fix my hammertoes. Now I can wear open toe sandals and not feel ashamed of my feet.
I always thought my 4-year-old grandson was flatfooted but never thought it will present a problem especially because I was flatfooted. Flatfoot is a deformity found in children and adults in which there exists either a partial or total collapse of the arch located on the inner portion of the foot. I was asymptomatic; however, my grandson had symptomatic pediatric flatfoot.
Dr. Radovic examined his foot, calf, knee, and hip and periodically evaluated his walking patterns. Dr. Radovic recommended a custom orthotic device and casted one for him which he has to wear inside his shoe to support the structure of his foot during walking. I enjoyed the courteous demeanor of Dr. Radovic and he continuously made my grandson laugh which is an added plus when finding a great doctor.
My son plays high school basketball. He was injured during practice and doctors in our home town of Seattle, Washington, diagnosed him as having ruptured his Achilles tendon. His rigorous workouts required him to do various sprinting activities along with a lot of jumping and pivoting. This stretched out his Achilles' tendon way beyond its capability causing his tendon to tear. Such an injury could potentially ruin his chances of ever playing basketball again.
So, I researched various surgeons and came across Dr. Philip Radovic. We flew to South Orange County, California, and he confirmed his previous diagnosis of a ruptured Achilles tendon. Dr. Radovic performed the surgery and after a short span of physical therapy and rehabilitation he went back to playing basketball. In fact, he just received a full scholarship to play basketball for his favorite college team, the Kansas Jayhawks.
I was diagnosed with Neoplastic disorder approximately 5 years ago. Neoplastic disorder is a condition involving the abnormal growth of tissues resulting in tumors. What originated as a dime size tumor expanded into a golf ball size tumor making my doctors more suspicious that the tumor may be malignant. I had to get this tumor removed and wanted the best foot surgeon in California. Dr. Philip Radovic performed my surgery and safely removed my tumor. Luckily, results displayed that my tumor was benign.
As a 78 year old woman, completing household chores can quickly become physically exhausting, especially when the chores require going up and down multiple flights of stairs each day. One day while coming up the stairs from finishing up laundry I noticed redness and swelling in one of my feet. I also noticed the swelling radiating into my big toe. I quickly asked a neighbor of mine for advice, and she referred me to a local podiatrist, Dr. Radovic. After my first visit Dr. Radovic was able to diagnose me with gout and then prescribed the proper medications and gave me the thorough treatment I needed to completely rid the condition.
I love biking and my boyfriend and I are always seeking the most adventurous trails near our home in California. One afternoon we found a new trail that we had never explored and I had found myself falling nearly ten feet after encountering an unexpected cliff. Luckily, I felt physically and mentally okay for the most part aside from my ankle. I had fractured one of my ankles and broken the other entirely. After leaving the trail, I immediately made an appointment with Dr. Radovic after having my ankles checked out at a nearby hospital. Once I met with Dr. Radovic I was completely comfortable with the treatment options he presented and I was back on my feet in just a few months without pain. I now recommend Dr. Radovic as a podiatrist to anyone I know.
As a mother of three children I am always on my feet. Whether I'm packing lunches, dropping the kids off at soccer practice, or doing the laundry at home I never seem to get a break. One afternoon I noticed a slight pain in my feet, and upon closer examination I felt a minor bump protruding on the side of my foot. After speaking with my mother she suggested I speak with Dr. Radovic, a podiatrist near me. After speaking with Dr. Radovic, we were able to promptly set up a surgery to remove the bunions.
