Very friendly and helpful. I am just getting back into music after 40 years of musical silence. I used to play the clarinet. I recently purchased a second hand alto sax in hopes to learn the sax. It just seems to be a fun instrument.

I brought Coast Band Music my "second hand" instrument and asked them to guide me thru the "getting started" stages. They checked out my newly purchased "second hand" alto sax. It was in pretty sad shape and is going to need some technician repair. But, in the meantime, they helped me with the purchase of a new mouthpiece and some reeds. I can now get started without too much expense.

Thanks so much for your help, I know I will be back for more music instrument help, advice, and possibly a new sax when I get tired of this second hand one.

dba Perkins. Be aware that Coast Music is the same as Perkins Music in Irvine. I had a problem with this, as my bank called me to verify a transaction, and I could not. The next thing Coast does is send you to collections. When I returned the instrument rented, they could not return my deposit until a later date, asking me to sign a statement of responsibility that any damage discovered at a future date was mine. If you like recurring credit card charges from companies you do not recognize, an open ended responsibility for damages, and employees that insult you, this is the place to go. Otherwise, steer clear.
