I brought my lab Gabby in for vaccines. Just a normal visit, but I was treated like a welcomed guest with a red carpet. They knew our names when we walked through the door. Dr. Wood came in the exam room, introduced herself and her technician. Both of them treated Gabby like their own dog! They talked to her when administering the vaccnes and she wagged her tail the whole time. I was in and out of there quickly. Nice job!

negligence left 3rd degree burns on my dog. I recently took my little dog Jack to VCA Mission Viejo animal hospital. Jack is my beloved 5 year old 4lbd yorkie mix. I took him in to get 13 teeth removed a big enough surgery for such a little guy to handle on its own. When i picked him up i noticed wounds on his abdominal area. I took him back to the vet and was told that they had 'accidently' left heating pads on him during surgery. My little dog had 2nd and 3rd degree burns on 10% of his little body. How long do you have to leave a hot heating pad on a dog with no protection before 2nd and 3rd degree wounds are produced? It has been a horrifying experience to say the least. He isn't out of the woods yet but he is getting better every day. I will never go back to VCA Mission Viejo Animal Hospital again. I hope you dont either!

Wonderful place. I went there when one of my cats needed her shots because my friend told me you could get a free office visit for first time clients. I am so impressed I will be going back and have made an appointment for her to get her teeth cleaned! They are great!!

Awesome and Caring Staff. I have yet to have a negative experience with the my pet at this facility. Both of my dogs have seen each of the vets and all of them are wonderful, caring and highly educated as is the support staff. I have seen nothing but professional behavior.

Things that you should know..... The review by "VETTECHGIRL" couldn't be from the TECH that is mentioned in the review....could it??? I wish with all my heart the things I saw happening were untrue.

Just be advised that that TECH may still be there...smacking recovering patients, commenting and playing with genitalia, abusing her dog....need I say more???? Glad that they saw this...consumers need to know!

Worst Service EVER!!. The worst location is in Lake Forest on South Pointe Drive.

A full day of no one calling me back regarding my pet who had to stay there with a catheter. Finally around 5 they told me to come pick him up yet I sat there for an hour!! Then another lady who had dropped off her dog for surgery (which was minor and she said she could wait later in the week yet they said they weren't busy so to bring the dog in that morning). She too was told to come pick up her dog (at 4!!) At 6 we both got irate! I find out I don't have my pet because the doctor is in surgery with her dog!! She then blew up as she was told 2 hours ago he was ready!!! It kept getting worse.

Even when I got my pet back (and there is a lot of BS in between these lines where I wrote them a 7 page letter of the day of misery I had with them) they don't return calls! No one there does! Even when I inform them my pet is bleeding all over the house. Didn't even care to respond to the 7 page letter. THEY DON'T CARE. NOR DOES CORPORATE AS SENT THEM THE LETTER TOO! Avoid all VCA Hospitals. The main office didn't even care to follow up!!! Go to a private vet because THEY CARE MORE! They aren't pushing new vets into the system!!
