Paul's is Some Seriously Good Stuff.
My family has been coming here since I was a kid. The food is fantastic and you definitely get the value for your money. Their sandwiches are HUGE and I would be surprised if anyone was able to finish the amount of lasagna (my favorite) that you get. I know their sauce is homemade cuz I've had plenty of conversations with the friendly employees while I was there. I haven't been here for a few months (I moved), but I can't wait to go back. And their Italian dressing (also homemade) is a can't miss. A good zing right in the back of my throat!
Also, to the lady who said the service is terrible because the emplyee would not honor the Entertainment Book coupon, I say pay attention to your own actions. I just happened to be sitting in the corner eating when this happened. Not only was there a sign posted about the coupon, but when the employee said she could not take the coupon but would give them both free drinks and salads, the lady with the coupon said that was not good enough. She then threw a fit and said that her and her husband had been going there for years and knew Paul personally. She wanted to talk to Paul and when the employee said he had gone home for the day, the lady wanted the employee to call Paul at his home so that she could use her coupon.
I found the whole situation laughable. All that to save a few dollars at a place you supposedly come to all the time. How cheap can you get?
Even though there are two positive reviews on here about Paul's, once I saw this ridiculous negative one I knew I had to write another positive one.
P.S. If you take a look at the lady's other reviews, you'll find that she seems to have a problem no matter where she goes.
A MUST if you are in Westminster!!. I don't have the time, nor do I care to ever write food reviews, but I am willing to make this one exception. I've been going to Paul's for the last 7 years and I truly cannot say enough about how friendly the staff is and how tasty their food is every single time I've gone. I appreciate not only taste and good value, which happens to be the case, but even when I was a newbie, the staff there have taken care to remember my name and what I order. There were times when I couldn't go for weeks, yet Matt, Paul's son, has always called me by name and treated me like a good friend. Nowadays, when customer service is hard to find, there is no doubt that you'll get some of the best treatment when you go.
Terrible Customer Service; Rude; Did Not Honor Entertainment Book Coupon, Was Told "Too Bad".
I used to like going to Paul's Deli. But recently, my husband and I stopped in and ordered two sandwiches with fixings; buy 1 get one free with an Entertainment 2008 coupon book. The female employee was very rude and said they "don't take those anymore" because they didn't want to be in the book. Instead of honoring the coupon and perhaps making a sign for future customers, she told us "too bad"...
I only liked their sandwiches....their hot foods are terrible. The terrible customer service isn't worth ever re-visiting that place again.
Paul's is the BEST!!. We started going to Paul's Deli back when he opened over 20 years ago! The sandwiches and food prepared is the best anywhere, Paul's bread is the best! We since have moved to CO and haven't been able to find a place as good as Paul's. At least it gives us a reason to go back to CA to visit Paul's Deli! Hello from Joe, Paul!
