Children's World Pre-School

I too grew up at this school and enjoyed every moment!. My sister and I went to this pre-school for numerous years, from pre-school thru elementary school. Our mom was a single parent who also worked full time. Mrs. Overman and Gary were supportive and accommodating to the parents and the children.

The summer program was AMAZING! I have so many great memories and gained many friends from attending this school. With social media taking over the world, I have been able to reconnect with some of those friends.

Now a mom of 2 young kids I have started my search for a pre-school and can only hope I find a program that can even compare to my experience. I just wish I lived in the area still so I could enroll my children at Children's World.

BAD SCHOOL. I JUST PULLED MY SON OUT OF THIS SCHOOL. THE TEACHERS THERE GAVE ,MY SON SPOILED MILK. THE CUP WAS OUT AND IT HAD CURTLED MILK IN IT. MY SON THREW UP FOR 10 MIN. AND I CALLED THE SCHOOL AND GARY DENIED EVERYTHING .. THE TEACHER I SPOKE TO ALREADY ADMITTED IT BUT GARY REFUSED TO BELIEVE ME. I WONT EVER GO BACK.!!!!!!!!!! ITS A BAD SCHOOL…

I grew up at this school.. I went to this school for after school and summer care from 1st grade to almost 7th grade. My parents both worked very hard and this school was my home away from home. I absolutely have the best, most amazing memories of this school. Ms. Overman ran the school when I was going there and I loved her. Gary Overman was there quite often and would always tell all of us kids about Rugby. We were always SO EXCITED when Gary would come and visit.

I know in this day and age it is hard to know who to trust, I am a parent now and I understand--but I can say first hand that this school and it's owner's are people that I would trust with my children because I know how they were with me.

The summer program's here were amazing, I got to experience so much in life because of the summer programs at this school.

I am 32 years old now and alot of my great memories as a child are memories from Children's World. The owner's and staff encouraged my imagination, encouraged me to do my best, encouraged creativity, and ultimately because they encouraged me I am a encourager today. This school taught me how to swim, and this school taught me how to treat others. I just cannot say enough great things about it. Children's World taught me valuable life skills that I still carry today.

I only wish there were more schools like Children's World. I want my children to experience the same as I did, unfortunately schools like this one are hard to find.

Today, I am a hairdresser, an artist, a wife and most importantly a mother. I can say that Children's World helped mold me into the person I am today. They taught me I could believe in myself.

Trust, Worthy, Reliable, Honest, Great, 100% RECOMMENDED. Children's World Preschool is a great school. Many schools would be honored to have male role models. Male teachers are just as awesome as female teachers. Young children need both gender role models in their lives. Especially, children who come from broken homes in which their fathers or mothers are absent.

There has been many many changes over the years, decades...Change is good.

Six years ago my sons 1st grade teacher recommended Children's World Preschool.

Mr. Garys program not only provides child care for young children, he provides before and after school care for school age children, and all day care when your child has a vacation day from school. The program provides transportation to and from nearby schools for school age children. Which is beneifical being a single working parent. When the children arrive back to the program they read for 15 mins, then they work on their Home Work in which the teachers help them with(this has been extremely appreicated.) The children are given a snack, then they get to play with their friends until they are pick up. During the summer,when school is out Mr. Gary carefully plans 2/3 field trips,Ex: beach, park, movies, skate rink,... and two swim days each week for the school age children. Great, Great program.



Mr.Gary a father himself is an awesome Father, Teacher, Friend. My son loves Mr. Gary. He has tought my son many life lessons. I too, like Mr. Gary. He is kind, generous, hard working, trust worthy..... I trust my child in his care.

Truly take the time, before making closed minded remarks or at least have an opinion of your own.

In times like these wouldn't you too advertise your business? Does this make one weird? I think not.
